Thin and light weight
I didn’t know this ceramic feeder was so thin compared to others I have. This is fine for people who put the feeder directly on the floor. My dogs eat on an elevated feeder holder so this sometimes falls off if my dogs lick too aggressively.

Not as good at slowing them down as other designs
Pictured are my 18lb puppy eating from this bowl and 1.5 cups of food in the bowl. Overall it is well-made and sturdy, he did not move it an inch. It did not, however, slow him down while eating as much as I would have liked. The bumps are too low to stop him from scarfing his food. It did take him longer than if he was eating from a regular bowl but not as long as from othe slow feeders.
