I have a large dog, and 2 small ones. It took 1 week to stop the large one to stop barking, he still do that just not as much. During that week I only had to use the shocker 1 time. It is easy to set up and the collar charge lasted 3 weeks

Works Great in Manual; Automatic Mode has delay
The manual mode works great, and I like that there’s a dial for how strong of a vibrate or shock you want to deliver. We used this in manual mode for recall training (our dog was already pretty good, he just needed a ‘reminder’ sometimes when he was in super-sniff mode). We also use it in manual mode for his barking. He usually only barks at bigger dogs that walk by our yard, so if we see them coming we can get the remote and manually activate.I do not like that in automatic mode the dog has to bark 3 times before the shock triggers. I wish there was a way to program it to go off immediately. Our dog is hound-mix so he has a big, long bark but doesn’t usually give three. For us, auto mode is pretty much worthless, which is disappointing. To be fair, this was listed as a ‘feature’ and I was aware it might be an issue before I bought. Everything works as advertised.

I love my baby beagles but man, they ain’t easy. They’re dramatic, high strung, stubborn and LOUD. Like, unnecessarily, obnoxiously LOUD. I’d spend my day shouting “no!” “come here!” and “be quiet!” to no avail. In the battle of baying beagles, I was clearly the loser. I’d given up. My home was full tilt chaos. The beags had won.So, as one does, I read the entire internet and then went on Amazon and I’m thrilled to have discovered The Dobe 2-in-1 remote dog training system. I love being able to control two collars from a single remote, but the absolute best feature is that automatic bark detection mode is also included! (Unlike many other remote training systems) most don’t have automatic bark detection -at all – so you’d need a seperate collar just for that. Also, I found many of the other guys can only operate one collar per remote. So if you have 3 dogs like I do then you’d need to juggle three seperate remotes, remembering which remote goes with what dog collar.. putting 2 collars on each dog… pffff.. ain’t nobody got time for all that!I want 1 collar on each dog and one remote to rule them all and that’s what I get with the Dobe training system. I love that I can individually control two collars from a single remote but what really sets this product apart from the competition is the included automatic bark detection mode. The other guys don’t have it all, but Dobe do. The battery life is excellent, the collars are well made, and most importantly I now have my peaceful, quiet life back and can enjoy our two lovely, QUIET, CALM well mannered baby beagles. Get it – you won’t regret it. ð

I’m giving this 3 stars because the collars turn off after a few minutes if they are going off (the dog isn’t barking) and the auto mode just doesn’t work. If it wasn’t for that I would’ve given 5 stars because other then that these are great.

While the features of both the remote and the collars themselves are nice to have, they quickly became useless and ineffective. Unfortunately, the collars began to lose their effectiveness about 60 days after purchasing the product. By the end of the five weeks, the batteries for the collars and the remote would only last an hour before dying and needing to be recharged, essentially making the collars ineffective and unusable. When the collars were charged and properly adjusted on our dogsâ necks, and with the remote set to the correct auto setting for barking, the collars would still fail about 90% of the time in recognizing when our dogs would bark. So aside from an expensive, and seldom usable product, this product also proved to be an ineffective bark-inhibiting trainer. The return policy is also unreasonable considering you only have a month to return the product.I donât recommend this product. While you will most likely find it an effective and useful tool in the short-term initial few weeks, you will quickly come to regret your purchase 1-2 months after purchasing this product as you begin to see the batteries not hold a charge and as the collars begin to fail regardless of the number of times you attempt to fix the remote and adjust the collars.

auto mode it goes off for no reasons
I like the collars it comes with two with different set prongs but in auto aka bark mode my dogs will be laying down then the collars will go off beep then shock them for no reason battery life is ok so far I donât know if I have defective collars but in the box the company actually has a pamphlet in there with nothing but bad reviews and they wrote underneath them to debunk them or what the did to improve I read them and those people that reviewed actually had the same problems I am having and the reason for one review which was actually the same as mine the company said that the collar had been dropped and broke the shock mechanism inside but I havenât had mine for long only a couple of days and definitely hasnât dropped them I only but them on my dogs for bark mode because I live in a apartment the remote is a plus but they donât wear them all the time Iâm testing the collars so I havenât left them alone in the apartment with the collars on and Iâm glad I havenât especially if it shocks them for no reason and I know itâs shocking because it will beep then they will jump in the air after the beep

I liked it at first but then I went to charge it and it wouldnât charge. And it just stopped working now and this prob happened in Aug. so we only had it for about a month and now I guess itâs pass the return date thatâs just great! So Iâm not happy about this at all!!! So that was a waste of money….

These collars have been a lifesaver for our 2 small dogs. They wear them all day on auto function when we are at work and we haven’t gotten a call from our apartment building since wearing them. On walks we bring the remote and our dogs behavior has completely changed they are less yappy and going to the dog park they aren’t going crazy anymore barking at all the other dogs.It does have vibration, electricity, and sound. We have never had to use the electricity the beep and vibration are enough. The collar is incredibly versatile we cut nearly half of it off to fit our boys. The battery life is about a week depending and the remote is longer. Sometimes if the dogs haven’t barked in a while the auto function takes a second to beep but that’s the only thing that I’ve found to be not 100% perfect. The remote is 100% every time. Overall very happy and so glad we decided to try these!

I like the rocker switch to select the collar to activate, and I like the dial to select the intensity. What I don’t like is the protruding buttons for sound, vibration, and shock. As a result, I can’t put it in my pocket while the collars are on the dogs. I had to retrofit the remote to fix the issue with some small keyrings and hot glue.

However, even after searching for and downloading the manual (there was no manual in the package and no instruction on how to find it) I could only get one of the collars to sporadically work in response to barking and then not at all.
