great dog training collar
I really like this dog training collar. In addition it works for me to communicate with my dog, this collar has a bright LED light on the receiver and the remote, which allows us to walk at night in my neighborhood. I also like the lock function on the remote control to lock the electric shock. I don’t really want to shock my dog. Both the receiver and the remote control have a long battery life. I only need to charge the receiver about every 10 days and the remote can go every 3 weeks. This dog training collar is priced very reasonably. I highly recommend it.

The device itself is perfect, the tone/vibrate/shock function works fabulous. Unfortunately the collar itself, leaves a lot to be desired – when you tighten it, it loosens back up on its own, the clasp keeps coming undone on its ownâ¦. You canât âchange the collar outâ due to how the collar is secured to the training device⦠I have the prior model and has a similar issue but I was able to change out the actual âcollarâ and Iâve had it for almost two years now and love itâ¦

Dog training collar with remote
I have two medium sized dogs that love to get out and explore the area around us. I walk with them and make sure they do not cross boundary lines or otherwise leave the property. I find the collar easy to use, easy to train the dogs to respond to the beep to come, the vibrate to come a little quicker. I rarely use the shock, as the dogs learned fast that if they ignored the vibrating receiver then a quick shock might come back. This remote has an off button to prevent the accidental use of the shock. Lucky for me and the dogs, I have not had to use the shock often. These are good dogs and the collars help make being out in the country enjoying the world much more pleasurable. Thank you!

Collar part wont hold a charge!!
This is like my 3rd or 4th time getting this exact collar and all the previous ones have been awesome! I literally had to charge the collar like maybe every 2 wks. This new one… I charged it all day yesterday and it is dead again tonight. Not the remote but the collar…its really annoying. It’s like it doesn’t turn off after so long of inactivity like the previous ones I have bought. I can charge it all night, put it on my dog in the morning, and by the afternoon, its dead…. like I let her out and go to beep her, nothing!!! Like I said I have remained loyal to this collar since her first one at like 6 months… she is now 4 yrs old.. . I’m thinking I deserve a free replacement… if not ,I’ll try another brand! Good results, great price.
Bought this to help train a 12 week old puppy. I used the beeper about 99% of the time to correct undesired behaviors. With stubborn behavior I have used the vibration mode a couple of times. There was no need for the electric zapper at all. I like the fact that it has it’s own On/Off switch to prevent unintentional triggering of the third function. This puppy was difficult to train until I got this. On the first day of use the puppy learned to “Come”, “Sit”, and which rooms of the house she is allowed in using only the beeper. By the end of third day she had learned to “Shake” and when to report to her kennel crate on command. Within a week of careful watchfulness she learned the boundaries of her yard. I reserved the vibration mode for the instances of her approaching the road. She learned quickly to stay in her own yard and to avoid going near the road when not tethered, enclosed or leashed.The key is not this electronic collar, patience, spending the necessary time, and positive reinforcement gets the results you want, but the collar makes all the difference in the world if your pet just doesn’t get it.Hint: Don’t let your pet associate the collar and it’s effects with you. Let the pet associate it with incorrect behavior instead by keeping the remote, which has good range, out of your pets sight when using it. I found that boundary training worked best if I watched her without her knowing and hit the vibration mode button when she approached her limit. The flashing green light lets me see her at all times on the darkest of nights. I like the fact that the USB charging cable is forked so that both the collar module and the remote can be charged at the same time off one USB port.All in all, I am pleased with the product which arrived on time and in good condition. It really helped to correct a lot of bad habits the 12 week old had developed before I got her. Biggest thing I learned is to not let her see me operating the control so that she only associates necessary corrections with her own behavior. It will not magically change your pet. Results may be seen sooner or later than what I experienced, but this thing really helped out when used properly and compassionately.

I was having a real problem with my 14 month Golden Retriever.. She would not listen at all when I would tell her to come inside from being out in the yard, she would also get real nippy at night and decided to have the zoomies at the night even though she would run for two hours at the park. It was just never ending energy with her. Once i bought this collar, it was magic. Now take Note – I HAVE NEVER EVER HAD TO USE THE SHOCK MODE ON HER. I put the collar on her and used the BEEP MODE ONLY and my life has been changed forever. I use the collar when I take her to the park a lot and I feel so much safer taking her off leash cause she listens when I call her or she knows the beep will go off. If she starts to get out of control at night I just put the collar on her and she instantly lays down and this was all from a beep sound. I recommend this collar to all dog owners who are having any issues with training there dogs. Every dog is different . I have had 5 dogs in my lifetime and never had these issues before but this little one is a handful and just really likes to push your buttons. Our pets mean everything to us so why not have the extra safety when you are at the park and your dog decides to chase that squirrel that is headed for the street. Push of a button can save there lives.One last thing about this company there shipping speed was awesome > I received it the following day.
