Good Grooming Set for PUPPIES!
Gave our brand new puppy (an 11-week-old golden doodle) his first bath last night and took this grooming set along the ride with us. I started off just using my hands to get him fully wet, and to say he was shocked and didn’t try to escape every which way from Sunday would be an understatement. BUT, the moment I put the gloves on and started scrubbing him down, he instantly relaxed and then…fell asleep! Oh, to be a puppy. I wouldn’t necessarily say the gloves produced a notable amount of foam or suds, as the one product photo promotes, but they absolutely helped me dig into (gently, of course) his abundance of luscious locks to provide the washing he so desperately needed. The reason I specified “puppy” in the subject line is because of the towel size. While my pup is small now, he already has a ton of hair that soaked the towel almost instantly, so I know if I had to grab a second towel for him as a puppy, I’d need 4 or 5 of these to dry him off once he’s fully grown.I’d still recommend this set for those with forever petite/small dogs or those with not a lot of hair, but not for big (or will one day be big) or hairy dogs, as you’ll definitely have to buy at least another (or 3) towel.

The little fingers on the gloves help to suds up my dog. I have a Shetland Sheepdog and she has long hair as well as a dense undercoat. These gloves make the soaping up and rinsing a bit easy by helping me to get the soap and water through the hair better. The fact that the manufacturers are finally figuring out that you need a pair versus one single glove is fantastic! They are a thicker rubber similar to Rubbermaid household cleaning gloves.

I wasnât sure my puppy would like the gloves but they actually seemed to soothe her. I also noticed that I used less shampoo with these gloves because of all the suds they create. The towel is microfiber material and I love that I can slip my hands in to dry her up. It definitely helps cut down bath time. I really am pleased with this product.

Works well and cut down on bath time
My pup doesnât love taking baths. She is a short haired terrier so while using my hand to massage in the shampoo works, itâs nowhere near as effective as these gloves which cleans deeper into the fur. I noticed a lot less shedding post bath time as well. The towel is the perfect size specifically for clean her face, the one part of the whole ordeal she actually loves. Iâm sure the towel would be large enough to fully dry the whole body of a smaller pup but I kind of like that this is her dedicated face towel.
