Works, but not silent to humans
This works to make my neighbor dogs stop barking for a minute, like they are curious maybe, but they resume barking a few minutes later. I have spent entire afternoons on my back porch blowing this thing every time they start barking, but the dogs have not ceased barking overall. Also, it is not silent for humans…it does make a high-pitched whistle that humans can hear (and cats), so keep that in mind if you are extra sensitive.
