I thought dog whistle were supposed to be silent, but this one makes a slight whistling sound. I only use it to recall my new dog When I need him in a hurry (Heâs less than two years old and has an attention span of a gnat). I do recommend these those prices right and every time I blow it, he comes a running, so Iâm happy with my purchase
