The Dogtra YS300 No Bark Collar is a safe way to help decrease or even eliminate excessive barking.
The YS300 is the smallest rechargeable No Bark Collar from Dogtra and is packaged in a compact, ergonomic form. The bark collar is activated only from your dog’s bark. The Sound Recognition Sensor uses a microprocessor to distinguish between the dog’s bark and the surrounding ambient noises.
This bark collar for small dogs is one of the most effective collars out on the market at eliminating unwanted barking. It’s recommended for dogs that are 10 pounds or larger.
When first using the YS300 anti bark collar, always start at the lowest stimulation level. If your dog continues to bark, gradually increase the stimulation level. Closely monitor your dog’s reaction to find the right stimulation level for your dog.

This thing works in Corgis!
Our 8-month-old Corgi developed the infamous high-pitched, highly annoying âCorgi Yapâ (Itâs like a mother-in-law, only not as shrill). We set it on the lowest level (2) and made sure the collar was seated properly with all the hair out of the way. It took two âzapsâ to cure his barking. Now, even when other dogs bark, heâll only go âOofâ in a low tone. Itâs great! Iâm buying my mother-in-law one and setting it on 10!

Battery died after 5 months, no customer service response
We purchase this end of Nov 2023 and it initially worked great. However, now in April 2024 (after 5 months) it not longer works or will hold a charge. We reached out to the manufacturer last week and still have not heard back. For $100, I would expect more and better customer service. I will update this review if/when I hear back.

Excellent and works well!
Our professional dog trainer recommended this collar for our 16 lb dachsund mix and it works well. We will hear a little squeal from her and it is on the lowest shock setting. That usually only happens once. She learned quick. I do have a question though and I cannot find any answer–the manual does not reference the smaller rubber prongs/contact points, it only talks about the 5/8″ medical grade stainless steel contact points. Am I supposed to be using these smaller ones that don’t have metal prongs on the end for the smaller dog? There is no info in the manual.

Battery Life
I would rather ask the seller but didn’t see a button to send a message. We do not use this bark collar all the time. It gets put on our beagle when she’s obsessively is barking. My issue is when its charged up sitting on the counter not being used the battery is drained out before we need to use it again. The little dial is hard to turn off. One day shouldn’t drain the battery. I charged it the next day went to put it on her and it was already dead.

Seems to work very well easy to install and our Border Collie adjusts to it she has learned to not bark, We hated to purchase a Bark Collar but this worked out very well and it is not inhumane on her.
