Product Description
Dogs bark. It’s a normal, natural dog behavior. But some dogs bark too much. It’s not hard to tell the difference between occasional barking and barking that is excessive. If you have a barker, the BarkCollar can help.
The BarkCollar is designed to change your dog’s barking behavior. If your dog barks excessively, the BarkCollar delivers a vibration or a stimulation at a level that is just enough to distract your dog and break the barking cycle.
Restore the Peace.
The BarkCollar has 7 adjustable settings from low to high plus a vibration option so you can select a setting appropriate for your dog. The vibration or stimulation gradually increases within the selected setting if the dog continues to bark. When the barking stops, the collar resets.
BARKCOUNTER
This BarkCollar feature provides information about how often the collar activated. It helps you learn about your dog’s barking behavior – even if you are not there to observe it.
CUSTOMIZED SETTINGS
The 7 settings auto-adjust from Low to High within each setting if the dog continues to bark. This allows the collar to find just the right level for your pet, large or small.
LONG LASTING DESIGN
The long-lasting, easy-to-recharge battery typically stays charged for several months. Lightweight, waterproof design.

Finally! Easy control of excessive barking.
I have a Yorkie mix who is a sweet, sweet girl but had always annoyed us (and neighbors) with excessive barking. I’ve had her for several years and have periodically tried a variety of remedies to no avail. I purchased a collar early on that vibrated or administered gentle shock as deterrent however, it required me to trigger it consistently and ultimately made little difference in her behavior. Was looking for a vibrating collar for my other dog who is elderly and going deaf (to use at off leash park to call him), when I noticed this collar. The automatic barking trigger and allowance for limited barking without correction attracted me. I decided to make yet another effort at controlling the barking. It helped that the collar was affordable. It has been AMAZING! I have fallen in love with this dog all over again. At least for the moment, she is even controlled without the collar on – few isolated barks at things/people but no prolonged episodes requiring correction. She is calmer. I do not often write reviews and never this lengthy. If you have a barker on your hands, even one who has failed to respond to alternative strategies, this is your salvation. The silence is GLORIOUS!

I think this shocked my dog
I’ve had this collar for months. Our trainer suggested it to use during crate training because my boys get pretty anxious. I didn’t use it really when I got it, but this week I used it on each dog. Yesterday, Joe was unphased by the collar and bork-borked the entire crate training session. That’s ok. He’s usually calm as long as hus brother is calm. Today, I tried it on Chandler. He barked like 3 times, didn’t like the reaction from the collar, and chilled right out. He was relaxed and napping in the Kennel for about 2 hours while I was working in the other room. Suddenly, he started screaming, and I ran in the living room, opened the Kennel, and while I was trying to remove the collar, I got bit. The poor baby was so frantic. I can only assume that something shorted out or glitched with the collar, causing him sudden and immense pain. Idk what to do.

Get it, you wonât regret it!
Refereed by a dog trainer. Basically letâs a dog be a dog and bark until theyâre obnoxious. My dogs have improved on their barking. Basically you start out on the lowest setting and increase it if it doesnât seem to take an effect. I have 4 dogs and we live on a corner house next to the mailbox, so my dogs think they have to protect the yard. As much as I love other dogs, no one wants to listen to your yapper, especially at 6am!

Great training tool
Our dog trainer recommended this brand of training collar, and this brand only. She was very adamant about purchasing from this company because of the proven success and the excellent filter the product provides, when it comes to correcting a dog bark from another loud noise. So far, it is working really well with our puppy and his is responsive to it. The collar has several different settings, including one that increases intensity, as needed. I really recommend this collar for successful training with any dog. I trust my trainer’s opinions and believe this collar is absolutely worth the money. Good luck and happy training!

Nice design, just doesn’t sense barking.
I’m a professional trainer and have been looking for a solid bark collar replacement since the old TriTronics Bark Limiters have been discontinued. After several days of research I bought this based on the feature list – especially that it had varied tip sizes and a bark counter. While the unit functioned when being tested (with their included tool), I had it on a dog for 3 days, observed 1st hand 3 rounds of 30 sec to 3 min barking (dozens of barks each time), and the unit never delivered a single stimulation. The collar was fitted properly, refitted twice, and NOTHING. I also charged it as instructed before 1st use. On initial power up it showed the batter was low.Nice design and feature set – just didn’t work at all for me. Not sure if I had a defective unit or they need to go back to the drawing board, but it’s being returned and I’ll continue my search for a pro-level, reliable, bark collar.

Breed dependent, but worthless
I have a Doberman puppy(5mo). Barks at everything. I have worked up to a 3 setting( out of 5). So eventually with constant barking this collar will kick in. But it takes way to long to trigger. If he really wants to go at it (like dogs barking at him), will bark through the 3 setting. They packaged the collar in the wrong direction leaving you with an end that sticks up(pic). On some breeds this may be a very effective device, small dogs probably , but as i moved it up to 4…still worthless for my dog. ( correctly installed, charged, with short hair prongs). It also damages the dogs skin, either due to being pressed into it or the electricity, but we cant use it any longer due to that.

Not good for dogs with longer hair
My mini aussie barks like a champ. This was recommended to us by our dog trainer as an effective training method (along with other reinforcements) to help curtail his barking. It would be great if the leads would actually make contact with his neck. We tried to short ones, the long ones, and putting the collar on so tightly that I was fearful we’d cut off his supply of blood. We called customer service, and although extremely helpful and patient, could not make this thing work for our dog. We are outside the window to return so we are now stuck with a $100 dog collar that looks nice in the box. Don’t make the same mistake we made – if your dog has longer hair, you may have better luck with a different method. We didn’t shave our dog’s neck because that’s a little over the top…
