Life saver for our senior dog.
Our senior dog (pointer/lab mix) developed pretty bad arthritis in his back legs that started to cause his back legs to splay out from under him whenever he tried walking on our hard floors. It was heartbreaking. I ordered a couple of other leg braces and harnesses that were supposed to help stabilize his legs, but they all either fit badly or he couldn’t sit/lay comfortably when wearing them. Decided to try these out as a last ditch effort to help him out. In less than 2 minutes after getting them on his back feet he was back on his feet and moving around safely and no more issues with his legs giving out.SIZING: His front paws measured out to XL on the chart and his rear feet measured out under the Large size, so we initially ordered Large. They did fit, but it was a challenge to get them on and the grip part didn’t seem to extend back far enough to cover his whole foot. They worked fine, but did need to be adjusted several times a day. I decided to order a pair of the XL to try. The fit was not as tight, but the larger size (XL) provides a bigger grip surface, and they seem to be less prone to working their way down. If you’re unsure, order a larger size.DURABILITY: Other reviews mention holes and things as a concern. Our whole house has hard surface floors, so we put them on him first thing in the morning and he wears them all day till bed including when he goes out into the yard to do his business. He wore the first pair for two weeks straight without any signs of significant wear or damage. Another review mentions the Velcro causing holes. They are knit socks, so yes, if you’re not paying attention and let the strap adhere to the sock they will stick, and can cause a rip/hole, but the strap is long enough and sturdy enough that there’s no reason that will happen unless you’re just not careful when putting the socks on and off. The top sock part does stretch out with repeated use so they do slouch down over time, but that’s to be expected. They’re grippy socks. For dogs. With proper care these things seem like you’ll be able to get a month or more of wear out of each pair easily.DESIGN: The listing states that the pattern of the grip makes these superior to other types of similar products because the grip on the foot part is designed in such a way that even if they rotate on the foot (they will) they still provide the same grip coverage. Our guy walked funny for a few steps when they first went on, but in 2 minutes he was more excited that he could walk without falling and was back to his old ways. He’s never chewed them or picked at them. Doesn’t mind them one bit. Now he’ll wait in the morning for me to come and put them on him before he’ll even attempt to navigate to the back door.EASE OF USE: It takes a hot minute to get the hang of putting them on. The instructions provided are helpful. Our guy is pretty laid back so he’ll let you do whatever you need to do. Once they’re on though they do stay put. You just have to work out getting the strap around at the best point on the foot and right tightness to keep them in place. Easier that putting on a pair of human compression socks, harder than putting on your gym socks, and definitely impacted by the willingness of your dog to cooperate. They’re grippy socks. Good for slippery indoor floors
My 70 pound mix breed has bad hips and just had knee surgery. These give her needed traction for her back feet on hardwood and tile floors and she’s showing much more confidence since she started wearing them as her feet will stay under her instead of sliding out. I find them a little awkward to get on as they are snug but on the flip of that, they do stay on well.The first couple days of using them she lifted her feet high for a few steps as if to ask ‘what have I got stuck on my paws?’ but now she’s used to them and they don’t seem to bother her at all. I do not use them outside except for quick potty breaks where it’s not worth taking them off then putting them back on and they are holding up well.I hand wash them in the evening and after squeezing out as much water as possible hang them to dry. So far they’ve been dry the next morning and I reuse them. That’ll probably change as the weather cools and turns rainy but then I can just rotate the pair in use.I’m very happy with the added security and stability they provide. As they eventually wear out I’ll happily replace them to keep my girl moving as safely as possible.

These socks will keep her from slipping
I have an old chihuahua that has trouble with her back. Her little legs would slip right out from under her when walking on the hardwood floor. These little gripper socks work great and have prevented slipping! They are pretty long going up her thigh, but I have found if you use the Velcro strap above the knee they stay in place well. The only down side is that the Velcro wants to grab on and pulls a bit on the material at the top of the sock when you are putting them on snagging it a bit. Otherwise I would have given them five stars.

Terrific!
My German Shepherd Girl has a chronic condition on the underside of her front paw. We walk and hike a lot, and I like to wrap her paw up so it stays clean and doesn’t get exposed to anything that may irritate it, such as gravel, pebbles, dirt etc. These really work so well. I went with the extra large and they fit perfect. We tried them for the first time last night and we couldn’t be happier ð they stayed on, they held up great and my girls paw remained clean and protected. So happy we found them! ð¾ð¾

My cat is almost 30 and has arthritic ankles preventing her from bending one of her legs so she has a hard time getting around on the tile. She was slipping all around and getting very frustrated. It might not look like sheâs walking very well in the video, which is true, but she IS WALKING, which feels like a miracle. This product has given her at least a few more months of mobility and independence. XXS is the size I would recommend for any adult cat. She only needed them for her back paws so now I have a spare pair. She is already very accustomed to wearing clothes, so I canât say how your cat would react if it is not. They are a little hard to get on without someone helping you (to be expected-they are socks). I like how the traction pads are big enough to go around the bottom of the foot, and thereâs another one on the top (which I suppose would be good if it shifted). I would have liked it see it go out a little closer to the edge where the stitching is but I canât really complain because they work amazingly. The quality is very good and the traction material is nice and thick. The only thing that looks cheap is the Velcro strap but it does work fine.

I’d gone through 2 other brands of booties for my dog who is recovering from an illness. The first one were pretty useless and super expensive. Once it turned, which it always does, there was no grip. The second ones were better. Good grip even if it turned but as with the first, were hard to get used to, so the weird gait and as it was all silicone, a bit hot and got chewed out. Tiger Toes are comfortable, grip despite turning and STAYED one even tho it is sock material and NO weird gait. He got used to them pretty instantly. Life saver, back saver. I highly recommend them for indoor use (outdoors he had enough grip anyway) on slippery floors.

I don’t think these socks for dogs can be improved any better. They are thick, the grips are really solid and the velcro wraps around really well. Eventually, the velcro will lose its grip, but that’s the disadvantage of velcro. Would recommend these dog boots.
