Not perfect but it will do!
I have a cold intolerance so anything with heat is a winner in my book (the winter months are brutal). And while this blanket is a winner, it is not perfect. Some areas get too hot, while others are not hot enough. The side that does not heat well is not the side I use so I can live with that. I love the single control (which can be difficult to find) and the length of the control. Also, the control light does not stay on (another winner). The blanket is very soft and keeps me warm and for the price, I cannot complain. There are probably more consistent heat-dispersed electric blankets available but not within my price range.

I like the fact the control light turns off. I always found it an annoyance to have the dim light on. I like the fact the cord from the remote control to the blanket is 10.7 feet long. I like the lowest temperature along with the digital readout of the blankets temperature. These are important features that far exceed anything I’ve previously owned.I find the price an attractive point in the purchase.The product conforms to the sellers description, the price is attractive, it met my expectations and I like it.Five Stars * * * * *

Whereâs my Hero?
One day my hero of heating blanket makers will make a single control Queen and larger blanket with the wires leading in and out the same end or side of the control so it will sit nicely on my end table. Love the blanket, the features on the controller. Great timer setting feature. Does everything heating blanket should do and is very soft and comfortable to the touch. Only thing it needs is both incoming and outgoing cords on the same end/side, so the cords would feed easily off the back or side of the night stand. Fix that one design flaw and this blanket would get 5 stars plus!

Not hot enough
I got this to replace my Biddeford brand, throw blanket because I wanted a bigger one. The wires in this don’t go all the way to the edge of the blanket and it certainly doesn’t get as hot as my other one. I looked up the Biddeford brand to see about getting a larger size and it is twice as much as this so I got his one. If you want one that’s going to get hot, this isn’t it. It does work ok and feels soft. Also it doesn’t seem to want to stay on the temp you put it on, it keeps switching to lower Temps…Not sure if that’s a controller issue or what.

Worked fine for almost 4 months – then died.
When it worked it was good. Controls were clear and easy to operate. Did have a little trouble keeping it positioned correctly as it does not have much resistance and would slide off the end of the bed.Given the unit did not last 4 months I would not recommend it.
