Sturdy little hammock
This is a simple and sturdy design. It has 4 long sticks that screw into the 2 end pieces. It took me about 10 minutes to put this together, with no adjustments needed. Remember to check the side pieces before you put them on and install them with the insets/recessed areas facing outward so you can put the ends of the screws all the way into the board. I also recommend getting vise grips (and a cloth to cushion) or one of those grippy things for jar lids to use while putting this together. I had issues putting the screws all the way in because the wooden sticks were turning too much. They are smooth wood, so anything that makes it easier for you to hold them still will be helpful.My kitten seems a little confused by the concept of this hammock, but he is already playing on and around it, so it seems like he will enjoy this item.

Final product is okay (not washable with disassembly), but assembly was a journey
The final product is a quality product that my cats absolutely love; the whole is greater than the sum of the parts, however. The wooden pieces did not entirely line up after being screwed together, but this was able to be hidden with the canvas. It was definitely a two person job getting this thing together. It is not really washable because of the assembly process – it would be a lot better if the canvas piece had buttons on the ends to wrap around the wooden parts, instead of having to suspend the canvas through the wood pieces and then building the frame over it. Because of this, I would definitely recommend some kind of additional layer (towel/blanket, etc.) on the canvas piece.

Definitely a 5 star item according to our cats!
Our family runs a kitten/cat rescue and I’m always on the lookout for unique beds or toys for them to enjoy. This bed is a hit!They will sleep on it as it is intended for – but they also love to sit on it and attack others who come up to them and use it as a platform for jumping on and off. What is it about “kiddos” (even kittens) liking to jump on their bed?Easy to put together – highly recommended by humans and kittens and even adult cats!

This hammock bed was simple to put together. The instructions were not very detailed but gave enough information that I was able to get all the included pieces puzzled together. Once I had all the wooden poles screwed together and securely attached to the base pieces the canvas hammock hung nicely. The canvas hangs taught enough that my 15pound big Tom cat was able to snugly loaf in the middle and not touch the ground. After setting it up he immediately sat on it even without the included cat nip. He spent most of the evening napping there in luxury.

Nice hammock for my cat.
This is a nice bed. You have to put it together, but the base is all wood and the hammock is a nice quality canvas. After I put it together I put a little cat nip on it and my cat jumped right up. As I was cleaning up the packing stuff I realized they actually included a little pack of cat nip. They also added some rubber feet to place on the bottom so it wonât scratch your floor. As you can see, she loves it. Oh and she is a big girl, 23 pounds (we are working on getting her weight down).

Very nice, but extremely hard to set up
This product is really nice once you have it assembled, but honestly, it was a nightmare to assemble. I will be really broken nail and trying to screw each piece together you think at first it was easy, but it takes quite some time. Also once you put the fabric it is very hard to assemble because the wood part is very slippery and I have issues with my hands so it was really hard to hold one side to tighten the other one because the, keep turning and you really have to use a lot of strength in your hands to assemble it. It was a nightmare. This should be a lot easier on people.

Neat Little Cat Bed
This was easy enough to put together in about 10 minutes. Cats went right to it to investigate. I put this on a table where they like to hang out, and now they sleep on it regularly so they’re up high enough they can see everything.

Although assembly can be tedious, the instructions are clear and assembly process is simple. The necessary hardware and Allen wrench are included and no additional tools are required. My cats enjoy lounging on this race cat bed which has good aesthetics in any room.
