Assembles easily with out tools. Steel frame looks and feels durable despite a savannah cat’s efforts to take it apart. Our black and white barn cat does use it too. Time will tell if the plastic corner pieces can withstand the pounding when two (16 & 23 pound) cats fight on it. The fabric hammock part has some irregular sewing, but appears to be okay for now. Does not feel like cotton. Will carefully measure the fabric so, if need be, I can make a replacement hammock. The rubber feet did not slide despite the cats thumping on it. Warm air from our furnace comes into the house by way of floor-mounted metal registers (old Reggio Registers!) and the Savannah would on top of the registers and block off the heat into a room. Now he is raised off the floor so we get some heat into the rooms. We plan to buy another because it solves that heating problem for us. Recommend putting a small towel on top. The plastic frame elevated beds that we tested got trashed very quickly (2-4 days) so this appears to be a better option for us.

The dogs agree- these are perfect!
We bought two of these: 1 large and 1 small (75 lb. Pit and 12 pound miniature cockapoo). We go outside on our covered back patio a LOT and the concrete gets really hot for the dogs to lay on. We bought these, in two appropriate sizes, for the dogs to join us and have a safe cool spot to lay down. These weren’t easy to put together but because the material stretches it’s a nice tight fit and the fabric doesn’t sag. The big dog (75 lbs.) doesn’t have a sense of his size and he lays on both the large cot And the small one. Both have held up for 8 months now in the hot summer heat and sun. (We take them in when we go in but I expect they would weather well regardless.)

Great value easy cleaning light weight and sturdy
Excellent excellent excellent!!!!!! Another necessity for anyone who works in animal rescue and foster like myself who runs my own independent animal rescue and foster center from my home and being the sole financial support provider for the animals and their care and upkeep with limited time that can be spent away from the home value is key!!!!! I was shocked to find a study waterfront wipe clean off the floor cot /bed in which I was able to afford and that would serve all purposes without having the drawback of having any excess work for upkeep or difficult tool requiring instructions as time is not a privilege of mine usually but I actually have gained a few minutes from shaving indoor pen cleaning with their easy quick either spray down with bleach or other disinfectant cleaner and wipe down maintenance cleaning daily and simply tossing their mats I place on top in the washer and dryer and weekly a five minute pressure washing to finish both and wipe dry or a fast sunshine air dry and just easily lift the extremely light weight cots up and place them back in their sanitized pens definitely recommend that all multiple or even if you’re only a single pet owner who would love to provide a special personal space bed that easy easy to afford to put this at the top of their shopping lists asap it’s an incredibly sanitary durable comfortable pet bed that can be used with or without a top mat that keeps them as we would prefer and keeps them up off the floor plus they are also great cooking beds too and I have them without mats outside in their huge play kennels and it’s beyond convenient to be able to just hose down the entire enclosure each night for cleaning and I have noticed that I have not had a bedding/flea infestation issue since resolving spraying everything and the outdoor kennel and these cots so from what I see they don’t hold hold fleas and mites especially when pressure washed or even hoses down daily another essential life saving time saving item at my rescue/foster!!!!!! More than recommended I caution against using other pet beds honestly

Dogs love it
I ordered two. Dogs love them and bought them for outside.Attractive. Love the rubber feet. Had to send one back for an exchange because the box had the wrong parts. There are two layers of fabric, my dog cut one layer with her toes nails by scratching/nesting. I was surprised by this. Will order a cover for that one maybe. But they still use it. These take 2 people & a rubber mallet to assemble. The directions for assembly are clear, read them! (You’ll struggle otherwise) I expect these to last two summers (one down) outside. I have left them out in rain & shine & they have not become dirty or moldy or discolored. You can easily wash them up with a little laundry soap, a scrub brush & a hose. My dogs are both around 50 pounds but friend dogs which are smaller like them too. Even tho the fabric ripped on one, I like this fabric better than one I’ve had in the past that looked more like a really tight netting. It just looks nicer. Personal preference.
