These little boots are wonderful. They are made of strong material and well stitched. The sizing is accurate also.At first, our dog (23 lbs) was reluctant to walk in them. I offered some treats to get him moving while still in the house and in no time he felt comfortable.I bought these boots because they cover more of the leg and have two Velcro straps for each boot. If I put them on correctly (which is easy, i just have to put his paw all the way in…then tighten the lower strap first) they stay on for the full hour walk.I needed boots to protect his feet from the salt on the streets and sidewalks, during the winter. When we went walking in the snow without boots, our dog would get cold paws but now he is happier and more eager for longer walks. Which is healthier for all of us!These boots do the job very well and I highly recommend them to everyone!

These are great shoes for your doggy in the winter. They can walk in the snow for extended periods and not have to worry about their feet getting to cold. The shoes also have treads on the bottom for increased grip in the snow. The Velcro straps makes for easy on and removal of the booties. Very good quality shoes for your doggie friend.

Buying this kind of thing online can be a gamble as there is no way to physically compare the shoe to the pup’s paw. In the past, I have used the seller’s description/measurement guides, and in some cases, the booties were too small. Here, the measurements are correct.⺠We have another pair of booties that look exactly the same but from a different seller and like those, these fit properly. The sole is very much like some other booties we have for the pups. It provides a good grip on most surfaces. The really nice features with these versus others we have used are, first of all, how far up beyond the carpal pad and the two velcro straps that fasten near the top and just above the first joint. This makes for a secure fit, and so far while she was out romping around today not one shoes has been flipped off a paw as happens with the others.⺠Where the top section meets with the leather upper section there is a lot of flex which allows the joint to be flexed without any restriction. All of the stitching that holds the uppers and leg sections is well done and double-stitched.While it hasn’t snowed yet it will be interesting to see how well and how these dry out. The material used above the uppers seems like it might soak up some water. While the outside does repel water, the inside has a nice soft padding that holds water. We always place the booties over a furnace vent at night, but with how deep these are, it seems we’ll need to fold them back so that air can circulate up to the tow section.Since these are new, I’m hoping that the bonding agent used will be better. The soles and uppers have worn well and taken a fair bit of abuse. The pups play with their buddies at least twice a day, so there is much running, turning, jumping, and playing rough. It’s this romping around with other pups that puts the greatest strain on them. One thing that we have noticed with the leather upper and silicone sole bonding is that it starts to come loose after a couple of winters. The only negative thing to mention is how the leg material sort of crumples up at the top when the pup is standing. This is visible in the image. So far, we’re pleased. As I write this review, they are priced at $37.99 which for size 5 dog boots is a pretty good deal. I’ll just have to see how well they wear.
