Boots stay on well. Dogs don’t mind wearing them
These boots stay on pretty well, and neither of my dogs mind wearing them. Even the first time putting them on my puppy, he never walked funny or tried to get them off. Durable, water resistant, These are my go to dog boots when the weather is below zero or super muddy. They are pretty slick on ice, so be careful!

A solution for the salt problem
The good: These booties solved a huge problem for me and my dog; salt. We live in the Boston area and they salt the roads and sidewalks heavily. The dog couldn’t walk ten feet before he came up lame. I’d brush his paws off, he’d go another ten feet, lame again! It was bad. So I went on a booties search. Found ones that I couldn’t get on, others that wouldn’t stay on and then, finally these. The cuffs stretch and make it easy to pull them on and as long as you cinch the velcro straps down snugly, they stay on. They made the salt problem go away completely. Success!Now the not so good: Not waterproof. They get soaked through quickly. I bought a second pair and alternate, one pair drying while the second pair is in use. Not very durable. After about ten walks they were showing serious signs of wear. But the two pairs will make it through this winter and I’ve already bought two more for next winter. They are inexpensive enough to make that a reasonable proposition for me.If your dog is bothered by snow and ice (mine isn’t) these booties may not be the best solution but if salt is your concern they will do the job.

I give it 3 stars for the price
You get what you pay for and dont expect too much with these boots. My dog wore them once and that was no fun for him. They would not stay on his feet properly unless we overtightend the velcro straps. I replaced these with a set of Ruffwear griptrex boots, at $50 they are a much better buy because they fit properly and have a real protective sole. My dog loves his Ruffwear boots. I would not recommend these boots

Dog boots that stay on!
Love these dog boots . Have been ordering them for years. Easy to put on your dog and they stay on. They only last for one winter but they are still well worth the money. They keep the dog’s paws warm and dry. They are the only boots I would buy for my Airedale!

These are not shaped to fit a dogs feet
These boots were such an awkward shape and size. They are not shaped to fit a dogs foot at all, they are kind of shaped like a mitten for a human without the thumb part. I have two shih tzus and these feel right off their feet. They did not stay on for even a minute.

Bad sizing instructions
It would have been more helpful to include the sizing chart on the package (which Iâve included below) rather than the one that is shown on the item description. Measuring the feet is more helpful for boots than measuring the neck to tip of the tail. Not sure why thatâs there – maybe for the matching raincoat? Not surprisingly, I purchased the wrong size and will now need to exchange.

Based on looks alone…
I have not used these bc I ordered the wrong size, so I can only comment on what I see and feel. I have tried several brands though, and these appear sturdy. They have alot of velcro, so u can make them very tight. They seem stiff, but that could be because they’re new. They don’t say ‘water proof’ so I doubt they are. I like the vibrant color and reflective band. Unfortunately, I think they only come in red and I would like a blue set as well. Once I hear back from the company (and if they let me exchange them after so long) I will update my review and give seller feedback.

These boots are easy to put on and take off even on a spaniel’s wider feet and they do stay on even in deeper snow as we have alot of snow this year. They are slippery on ice and may not be too warm for an extended walk but are great for half hour walks. They do wear out easily but we do purchase two pairs for the winter. They are also a great price. We dry them on boot racks over a register and they dry quickly. They work well for us.

Used these boots 3 times and the completely tore apart. Seams busted leaving my dogs foot exposed to the ice pavement. Would give zero stars if I could. Also donât stay on very well and one was lost in the snow.
