Best purchase I’ve ever made!
I seriously should have bought these years ago. My dog is now a senior citizen and his wood floor wipeouts are taking a toll on his body. He can’t even stand on a smooth surface without his back legs spreading. These socks not only fit perfectly around his paws (came with adjustable snap on velcro strap to keep them on) but the grip pads on the socks are thick and really grip the floor. He didn’t even walk funny after putting them on, which I assume means they are comfortable enough. The sock fabric is durable, thick but breathable. Also, no more early morning click clack from his claws as he paces for treats. I don’t even care if they don’t last long. Just the peace of mind that he’s not going to fall down the stairs is enough to keep buying them.

Good overall but flawed.
My senior dog licks and chews on his paws a couple months or so each year due to increased allergy issues. He takes allergy medication year round already so we just have to deal with the problem a different way. These socks are helpful. They are easy to take on and off. They are easy to care for (I hand wash them and hang them up to dry). I like the fact that you get six socks and the grippers are great. However, at least two of the socks (for the back paws) should be longer and have the Velcro in two spots or just one that would be higher up the paw (actually on the leg). They slip down on the back paws too much because they are too short for the back paws. Okay short term but not for longer time frames. Also, the snap for the Velcro attachment to the sock should have a cloth cover over the inside part because it presses into the dogs paw and can cause discomfort. I use these socks for short periods of time during the day when I canât watch him and he sleeps in human socks that I tape on using cloth tape.

I got these for my Great Dane, he was sick and having knuckling issues so he needed something to protect the top of his paws and these worked well. Use caution with the nails they will go through if they are sharp. I liked the button for the velcro it definitely helps to get a tight fit. They stayed on and work as expected. Highly recommend

Button can cause sores
These socks worked well for my GSD with hip dysplasia. They helped him walk better and not slip as much. However, overtime I noticed him getting sores on his ankles. Turns out these sores were located just under the plastic button on the inside of the socks. I was able to heal the sores but had to use a horse wrap that only sticks to itself and not to the fur in order to continue use of the socks. The only other problem I had was the fact that his hip dysplasia causes him to step on his own feet pulling the socks down lower and I wish the rubber grip was continued up higher on the socks for that reason.

YAY! They stopped his constant foot licking.
My 10 yr old dog has a growth on top of his foot and he just wouldn’t stop licking it…to the point it had become bloody. I tried bandaging it but he would bite the bandage off. I got him these socks and they worked like a charm. I still medicated and bandaged his foot and then put the sock over the bandage and on his foot. I found I had to change the sock after his daily walks, as the sock got wet, so be sure to have enough backup socks. I got the 6 pack and it did the trick. BTW, with wearing the sock he wasn’t able to mess with his sore, it kept dry and was healed within a week.

Just measure your dogâs foot first!
These are great! I forgot to measure my dogâs foot first and ordered the wrong size at first, but it nice I measured and ordered the correct size, these were GREAT!! They stay on our16yo beagleâs feet without slipping off AND resist her attempts to take them off herself, but best of all, SHE CAN FINALLY WALK on our wood floors without slipping. I found the best way to get them in her was to roll her on her back and use both hands to stretch each sock wide enough to get them on without tugging, with plenty of belly rubs and chin scratches mixed in. She didnât like them at first, but I gave her some scent work (ie. sprinkled tiny bits of food around the floor, Easter egg hunt style) to distract her. By the time sheâd walked around and found all the treats, she no longer cared much about having socks on her feet and settled down for a short nap. It was nice to see her step out of her bed afterward and be steady in her feet!

Sizing is way off
Our 68lbs Boxer just turned 10yrs old and is suddenly having back leg lameness. She’s been slipping on our hardwood floors. We’ve bought runners and put them all over the house but she’s still slipping. So our vet recommended we trim her nails, trim the hairs between her paw pads and put a moisturizing balm on the bottoms of her feet. So we did all of that but she’s still slipping. It breaks my heart to see her this way and losing her confidence. So I bought some anti slip traction paw grips. They’re like paw shaped stickers that stick to the bottom of her paws. These actually work really well at first, but unfortunately, they only last for a few hours to a day before falling off. So then I bought these socks in size Medium (brown) but unfortunately they were way too big. They literally fall right off her feet no matter how tight the strap is. So I bought them in size Small (pink) but they were way too small, I didn’t even bother taking them out of the package, they look like they’d fit a cat…just look at the picture, it’s such a huge difference between the small and medium, very disappointing. I’ve ordered from another brand but they’re on back order at the moment. Hopefully the sizing will be better with this other brand once they come in. It’s too bad, I really wanted these socks to work for her :(.

These socks worked very well for my 70lb pitty. He tore open a pad on his paw and the vet wanted it covered for 3 weeks while walking outside. I tried self stick wraps, but he wouldn’t walk with it on. These socks worked well. He got used to them very quickly. They wash well (I wash by hand after each use), and the velcro has a good “grab” to close. A few of them did get holes in them in the toe area, but I just stitched the toe area on all of them to give them a bit of extra enforcement. If these socks had a thicker toe area, they would be perfect.

I have a 75 lb. GSD and ordered the âLargeâ size. They fit perfectly and are very easy to get on and off. You also get 3 pairs of socks in one pack which is a bonus!!!The anti-slip traction grip on these socks is very generous side to side and fully extends from the front of the paw right through to the back unlike some other styles where the grip is focused mainly under the front toe pads of the paw. Even if the sock shifts slightly on the paw it continues to provides excellent traction due to the double-sided design of the sock.Theyâve made a huge difference for my girl. Very happy with my purchase.
