Minimalist yet effective wrap harness
This harness is great — it goes on very easily, just drop the loop over the dog’s head (because it’s just a strap it is less likely to spook the dog than a more involved fabric + clips + straps harness), wrap the long end around the dog’s chest, and snap the plastic buckle at the dog’s shoulder. It’s the quickest to “install” harness I have, and is easily adjusted for fit and comfort.
There’s a D-ring at the back between the dog’s shoulders for a static clip, and another D-ring along the dog’s right side for a modified martingale-style retracting connection, which adds a bit more OOMPH to reminding the dog to heel. The snap clip is very sturdy.
Because it forms a figure 8 around the front of the dog, it’s lightweight and doesn’t mat my golden’s fur at all. It might be possible to mount a patch along the sides at the shoulder to mark a working dog — not sure as I’ve not tried myself. A narrow patch of about 1.5 x 3 or 4 inches would work.
The stitching is flawless and the whole rig is quite sturdy. I’ll be ordering another as my puppy is out growing his medium-sized one; he’s about 50 lbs now and could probably use a Large. He’s never squirmed or balked at putting on or wearing this, so I’m going to assume it’s comfortable!
My favorite daily use, quick on-and-off harness.

Finally, a great harness for walking my dogs!
I ordered the EZYDOG Crosscheck Harness after two of my super feisty high energy Rat Terrier dogs escaped from another type of harness when we met up with an unleashed dog on our daily walk. Those harnesses were fitted according to instructions, even seemed tight, and we’d been using them for many months although I did notice my dogs pulled a lot with those harnesses. By suddenly changing direction (stopping and backing up out of the harness) the dogs were able to slip out of them with ease. Those old ones are what I call “Turtle shell” style harness with a little saddle over their back.
THEN I saw the Cross check Harness and noticed right away it looked different, like a figure 8, and looked like it might be more secure. So I ordered two. We’ve been using the Crosscheck Harnesses for a few days and let me tell you, THEY ARE GREAT- our dogs do not pull, they mind and follow my lead MUCH BETTER, and I can tell, the dogs seem unable to slip out of them. Also, they are easy to put on and take off. I really like the clip, it is smaller than on my previous harnesses, but really secure. AND it even fits my little short legged RT just as well as it does on my slimmer taller RT. That has been really hard to find a harness to fit my little chubby puppy, with her small head/neck and larger body but this one fits her great. Now we can give her more excersize, without woory of her harness sliding around.
And I’ve gone back and ordered a third Crosscheck for our harness shy boy dog as well. He normally has to walk with a neck collar only, as he did not tolerate the former style harness well- but this one, the Crosscheck, he wore first time no complaints at all and walked just great on it.
Really has changed my attitude about walking my dogs, I am confident now and SO HAPPY. Thank you EZYDOG!

Updateâ basically saved my Wired Fox Terrier from getting mauled by a stray dog!
Update: Because of the perfect fit for my Sadie and the way it tightens when pulled, I was able to lift my dog up immediately by the leash as a big stray dog came out nowhere trying to attack my dog. It happened so fast that all I had time to do way grab her up out of his reach by the leash connected to this harness and turning round and round with Sadie in the air to keep the stray from jumping and biting her!! The harness kept her safely out of reach until someone came and grabbed my dog and scared off the stray! I canât imagine what would have happened if she would have slipped out of the harness. Iâm ur she oils have been badly hurt or kills. I would recommend this harness a million times and will be ordering another for my other little dog.
I have tried so many harnesses on my Wired Fox Terrier. She has a big chest which makes finding a harness that isnât massive on her. She is also an escape artist, so needs to fit snuggly. This one is a simple design which is what I wanted so she is comfortable and isnât all covered up by a harness. I love how it fits and looks!

Not perfect – but pretty good!
My dog can slip out of a harness when he really feels like it – which, sadly, is too often. This style is the best “escape-proof” harness design I’ve found so far, but it’s not 100% escape-proof. My little nugget can still get out if he tries hard enough, but the good thing is that the trying usually takes so long I’m able to intervene in time. Also should note my dog is very lean, so he’s ability to turn into a worm when he wants to and just slip out of things might not be applicable to all dogs.
I will also add that the sizing on this size was a bit confusing. I got an XL at first b/c my dog has about at 28-29 inch girth, but the XL was way too big. The large suits him fine even though the sizing on the chart says L is from 22-29 inches.
The first one I bought also had the plastic adjuster for size broke after just a few uses. I am hoping that was just a fluke and that this next one lasts longer, bc I am happy with the design! I won’t buy a third if the plastic breaks quickly again.

Excellent for greyhounds
This is the only harness I’ve been able to find that fits my greyhound that he doesn’t slip out of, but it also doesn’t pinch him. Super easy to put on and take off too.

I ordered two , they are great for dogs who try to back out of a harness but one snapped right at the cross section , luckily we were just on the porch and she didnt escape. Maybe good for smaller , dogs who arent stronger. Mine is 45 lb bull terrier who can pull pretty aggressively at times. Just be careful… it is very well made…just needs reinforcement at the tension point on top

Acquistata per un bovaro del bernese di 41 kg tg XL.Facile da regolare e veloce da indossare. Molto pratica per agganciare il cane in auto tramite cintura sul sedile posteriore. Adatto in estate per non imbragare il cane con pesanti e ingombranti pettorine. Ã di ottima fattura e resistente; la ezydog non delude mai. Ha due anelli di aggancio: uno per la passeggiata per il cane tranquillo, lâ altro laterale per controllare il cane che tira.Lo consiglio senza dubbio anche se al mio cane preferisco mettere il collare.
