Great for exercising human and animal but will need supervision.
My Stafordshire Bull Terrier loves it. From the moment we pulled it out of the box he grabbed it and wanted to play tug. Great exercise for us and him. It is larger in diameter so hopefully we will get lots of play out of it. The ends are perfect for my hands but other family members would like the opening bigger because they have bigger hands. Unfortunately it took him about 20 minutes of chewing on one end to create cracks in the rubber. So this will be closely monitored but for our guy it is a great toy and lasted past the first 10 minutes.

Huge and strong!
For reference, we have two large pitbulls. One is a senior, the other is a VERY active and destructive 75 pound puppy. We got this for the puppy who has burned through toys without any concern for longevity. He has been working on this one for over a week now and he has barely put a scratch in it. And, unlike other “non-destructive” toys, he doesn’t lose interest in it out of frustration as those others tend to be just rock hard blocks of resin. This is actually pliable and softer rubber so he loves chewing on it and playing with it. Flipping it long ways and he can easily grip one handle while I pull on the other for a fun game of tug. Very highly recommend this one for any pet parents frustrated by all of the supposed non-destructive toys.

Most durable chew toy ever
I’m accustomed to most other chew toys lasting anywhere from 2 weeks to 20 minutes. This one lasted four months. It has no remarkable odor and the dense construction is thick, solid and flexible. It’s got some give when you squeeze it, but it’s not squishy.When the dog chewed it, tiny pinhole-sized punctures were imprinted into the toy without compromising its structure until after months of use. I was amazed at how my dog would grind her molars on this thing and hardly leave a scratch. It’s quiet, not crunchy. But it does squeak a bit after a few minutes of gnawing.It has tiny nubs for texture and seems to clean my dog’s teeth. As the toy eventually started to wear down, my dog enjoyed grabbing a nub with the incisors and stretching it until it snapped back. Eventually, they broke off the toy one by one over the span of four months, leaving tiny pencil eraser-sized pieces on the floor. If you drop this on your bare foot, you won’t be smiling.I’m buying my second one today.

Great toy for chewing and tug of war, but a bit heavy for playing fetch
This was one of the first toys I purchased for my adopted 4 year old Doberman Pinscher. It has been chewed relentlessly, drug around the yard, and thrown repeatedly in games of fetch. As of yet there are no significant teeth marks, holes, or missing pieces. It is solid rubber; compared to a similar toy he has this one is heavier and more tiring for him to carry around than a similar toy which is lighter weight. We have also used this toy to play fetch; it tends to bounce when it hits the ground which the pup sees as great fun. The bright red color is easy to spot especially if the dog gets distracted and leaves it in the yard. Compared to other throw toys, this one is heavier and much more tiring for the human doing the throwing. As far as chewing goes, well there are no damaging marks from a mouthful of Doberman teeth. When the toy gets too dirty and slimy for my tolerance, it is easily washed in the laundry room sink with dish detergent and sponge always returning to its Spic n’ Span original appearance with a bit of elbow grease.. This toy has definitely passed the test. My Bully destroys everything, and the nylabones are too hard. This toy has some give to it, and she can chew on it all day. I wish this company had more toys available, and Iâm definitely buying another one just in case, but I doubt that I will need it.

Nice, but didn’t survive my dogs
My dogs loved this toy while it lasted! We have a 30 lb. Boston terrier and a 50 lb. German Shepherd/hound mix. They are very aggressive chewers, and go through most toys within hours, if not minutes. This toy lasted a couple of hours before they were able to start tearing small chunks out of it. Dogs who aren’t as rough as ours would probably get a much longer period of use, lol

Although not as huge as the illustration falsey makes it out to be, this is a markedly larger version of the pulls our rescue dogs have loved – and destroyed – since they were pups. They eventually break up the smaller ones until there is just enough length for two muzzles to hold while they run side-by-side. I’m confident this will last a lot longer and is only slightly more expensive. They’re managing its weight okay but any heavier and I think it would be too much. So, definitely not for small dogs.

My 8 month old Wirehaired Pointing Griffon is a chewer. There has been plenty of rubber and “indestructible toys” that she has proven are easy to defeat. This bad boy is not one of them! It is fairly large and you don’t want it being dropped on your foot. That being said, she chews at this constantly, walks around with it in her mouth proudly and seems to really enjoy it!

This does exactly what it says; it is strong enough for both my daughterâs dogs. They chew a lot and most toys have a very limited life span. These are great however, and we sometimes smear Peamut butter on them and they chew away happily. Also, no bits of plastic come off for the dogs to swallow.
