Easy to use
The lead is plenty long so the pooch can run around and sniff . It is a nice heavy weight and should last unlike others that I have had where the spring retracting the lead wire out. This one has what I believe is a stronger spring.

Nice leash! I buy a new retractable one every year because they take quite a beating from snow, salt water, lake/rain water, sand, dirt, being thrown around. Itâs just an extra precaution to get a new one every year just to ensure everything works properly. Nice product. Works as intended and described.

Lock seens to small. Takes a couple tries
I owned a TUG leash very similar to this before hand but wanted something a bit more lightweight. So I ordered this. I do like the lighter feel to it and the quality is good. However the button that locks the leash is either too small or doesn’t fit properly in the lock side as it takes several times to punch and drag for it to actually lock. I thought it was just my me at first until my dog walkedmentioned the same problem.Overall, it works but it’s inconvenient at times.

I have the Flexi 16 foot. I like it enough that I thought I’d try this 26 foot version. The product seems well built and I have no regrets getting it, but if I had to only have one I’d choose the 16′ version.I live in city. For most walks the 16′ is far more practical. It is smaller, less weight, and keeps my dog at a more controlled distance from me. 16′ is more than enough roaming distance most of the time. It is also easy to add an additional length of paracord to give a few feet extra roaming distance when desired.The 26′ foot is nice for longer walks where other pets and people are not around. I like using it for park and forest preserve walks. If our walking path is secluded enough I sometimes add an additional 10 foot length of paracord for our walks.

Smooth and surprisingly long
I purchased this replace another brand of extending leash and was immediately struck by how much smoother it is and how much that impacts our walks. Because the previous one didn’t retract in the same low-friction way it would sometimes sag enough to get under the dogs leg or brush on the ground or water. This one does not do that at all. I was also surprised to see how much longer this one is that the previous version despite being about the same weight. I also much prefer this one’s locking operation as it allows me to release the lock while the leash is still under tension which always scared me about the other one.

Bought this in January of 2021 for our 75lb lab. It is very well made and puts up with a LOT of abuse. Nice long leash and handy locking mechanism.Our dog can be a good puller when he meets another dog and I have had no concerns or problems with this leash. I have even bought an additional one for when we are taking care of our daughter’s retriever.With 2 walks a day, this leash has had a lot of use! It finally gave out last night as the spring broke inside it and it will no longer retract.I am quite happy with getting just under 4 years out of this leash and will be ordering another one!Highly recommended!

This product has given way in less than 5 months and is not functioning properly. The leash is not retracting, and the button on top near the handle is malfunctioning too. I am unable to use the leash and it’s unusable in the current condition.Extremely dissatisfied with the quality of the product.
