A German-engineered Flexi dog leash like a German-engineered Porsche car
This leash is excellent. I have been “penny wise and pound foolish” before when purchasing lower cost leashes (produced in China). They function “OK”….at least until they suddenly don’t. You can tell they are cheaply made both in their assembly and materials. This German-made Flexi is solid. The leash unwinds and recoils SMOOTHLY. You can tell by the feel that Flexi uses a strong recoil spring unlike its cheaply made Chinese-produced counterparts. FIVE STARS for the Flexi.

Safe, Reliable, Top of the Line
I’ve had this Flexi leash for months now for my 5-year-old, 40-pound border collie. I’ve had other retractable leashes, but this is the best by far. The tape is strong yet soft, and does not pose the amputation/injury risk of string retractables. The handle fits well into my palm. The lock button is secure, even when my dog unexpectedly bolts after a chipmunk, and it’s easy to set and release. WARNING: Neither this nor any other retractable leash is appropriate for any puppy or dog that is not already leash trained. If you train on a retractable, the dog will learn to respond only to yanks of the leash and not to your verbal commands. Only use a retractable if the dog already can walk at your side without pulling at the leash.

Easy to Use and Luv Color
I am using this for my 16 LB. Shih Tzu/Bijon. Light weight. Easy to use and luv the bight neon yellow color. More importantly I got it so that I could attach the poop bag holder to it. No longer have to tie bags to the handle of the leash or worry about wearing pants that have pockets to carry poop bags. This leash is light weight but strong enough to stop my dog from running ahead. The mechanism stops the dog without jerking him back. When I walk my 2 dogs I have one on this leash and my mini Schnauzer that likes to be right by me on another leash. I find it’s no problem handling both leashes at the same time because this leashes is not cumbersome or over sized.

Bought this because the last one I had frayed and replacement also frayed. Oddly had good ratings. So far I very much like the smoothness and ease of using this leash. I love the reflective quality of leash. No sidewalks where I live and that works well. Hopefully Iâll feel just as pleased in a few months

I have a black lab I’m not sure how much she weighs but she’s not giant and she’s really not tying but she is extremely strong and this leash is great and works wonders. Don’t have much to add to that other than she pulls on it hard it’s never broken nothing is broken on it now and I’ve had it for more than 6 months If it did break I would buy another one.
