Looks better than in the pictures, but a bit wobbly
The colors on this 23.6in flower cat scratching post look deeper/darker in person than they do in the pictures, so it looks a lot better than I was expecting.The base comes folded, and my boyfriend said he felt like that was an issue when he was putting this together. It is a little wobbly for us, and he said he thinks the fact that it is two pieces is why. Putting it together was easy, pretty much like any other cat scratcher we’ve had.The flower is soft and feels comfy, but I think it is a little too small for my cats to lie on (one ragdoll, the other IDK but he’s a chunk). So far the cats have been going to town on the sisal, but jump off when I put them on the flower. The flower comes off though, so I may end up lying it on the floor to see if they’ll use it there. The material on the bottom is soft but really thin. Not a huge deal for us because the fabric on the base of cat scratchers always ends up shredded anyway.In general, I’d say it’s about like the average cat scratcher, but cuter.

This is an awesome little cat tree! It’s well-constructed and made of high-quality materials. It looks and feels like sturdy – even my big boys didn’t make it wobble. I think the design is very cute and the cats love the spring mounted puffball.Assembly was quick and easy. The only potential issue that I think some previous reviewers may have run into is you have to pay extra attention to make sure you’re using the correct screws as intended. I initially thought I was missing or had been given the wrong screw, but I just wasn’t paying close enough attention before I dove into it. Once I had that figured out, it was assembled and being played with in about 5 minutes.My only personal issue is that most of my cats are unusually large boys, and the flower bed is just too small for them to really use. It’s adorable, but they just don’t fit up there very well. For reference, Mongo, the large boy shown on the flower bed (SEE PHOTOS), is a Siberian and almost 15 pounds. My even larger boys didn’t even try to get up there. They did still enjoy the scratching post, but it is also too short for them. Now, for most average-sized or smaller cats, this shouldn’t be an issue, and I completely recommend this tree for them! It’s adorable and fun to watch your cats on it! Purchase with confidence and enjoy! ð¸

The best part of this scratch post/cat tree? The flower bed is removable and washable!!
If you have had cats and cat trees before, you know that once a platform gets dirty, it’s a real challenge to clean it because the fabric material is permanently attached to the wood part of the platform. The bed that makes up the top platform has a removable cover, so when it gets too furry I can just pop it off and throw it in the wash.This scratching tree is so adorable and fits the personality of my youngest kitty who is a complete diva and has no problems in the self esteem department. Standing about 2 feet tall, this scratching perch is just the right size next to a window or my workspace, allowing her to be able to either monitor what’s going on outside or judge the quality of my work from a comfortable spot that’s not my keyboard. The base is large, making it sturdy and difficult to tip over with a rigorous claw scratching session.I appreciate how this scratching perch is designed. It arrived in rather compact manner, and I thought there’s no way that this was going to end up being a 2 foot scratching post. The trick is that the base itself is two pieces, but when it’s put together, it connects in such a way that it’s really solid and can support the platform and a kitty.People and cat approved.

Sunny Yellow Cat Post – But Maybe a Little Small
I am very satisfied with the Flower Cat Scratching Post for Indoor 23.6in Tall Flower Cat Tree with Bed Natural Sisal Cat Tower with Toys Cat Scratcher with Soft Watching Perch for Kitten and Adult Cats. My only concern is that it might not be big enough for my son’s cats! His cats are huge!It wasn’t hard to put together, although it doesn’t come with very good directions. There’s just an assembly diagram of how to put it all together on a single piece of paper. There are no words letting you know what to do first. You can’t even guess to put it together in order of how the parts are listed. Yes, you start with piece A first, but you use pieces I, K, and E, long before you add piece B!I’m a little concerned that the piece I and K (a bolt and a washer) might damage the floor. They go on the bottom of the base and would touch my hardwood floors. I’ll put a piece of sticky felt over that, and then I might have to add sticky felt to the four corners so it doesn’t rock.Otherwise, this is a really cute cat station. I love the bright sunflower design. I love the twine-wrapped post that can double as a cat scratching post. I love the two attached toys cats can play with but never leave laying around the house. I love that the base isn’t too tall. It could easily be set in a window and not block the view, but allow some languid kitty to curl up in a patch of sunshine.I’m very happy with this cat post, and I think it was well worth the price.
