Necessity for dog walks and trips to the park
I had originally bought a different dog bottle not noticing that it wasn’t dishwasher safe. It also leaked when giving my dogs water if I didn’t click the bowl part open just right.The Mitocapy Dog Water Bottle, on the other hand, is perfect. It is dishwasher safe and easy to use with no leaking. It has a wristband for easy carrying or you can toss it in your bag. You simply flip open the attached “bowl” and the hold the button to fill it with water. The button also has a locking feature which I don’t necessarily use but you might find useful. It holds 19 oz which is enough for an outing. They’re extremely durable and super cute, too. So far, I haven’t found anything that I don’t like about them.

Bought this for a long car trip with my dog. He loves it. Just flip the top open and release the water. He laps away. So convenient.Only complaint, its easy to knock the flip top out of the fully open position. If the top is filled with water, it pours out from the hinge. But no biggie. Have to be careful, and if it’s a hot summer, just enjoy getting splashed.

It took me a minute, but i like it
Since I got it free with vine, I really spent a lot of time with this product. I filled it, let it sit, laid it down, shook it, & walked with it. I really like this. I initially got it to use with my big dog as we would walk about 2 miles at a time & she needed to hydrate often. Unfortunately, she crossed the rainbow bridge shortly after I got it & we never got to use it with her. My small dog can’t walk that far so I’ve not been able to test it ‘real world’ on the trail. I did, however, have him drink from it & it worked as I hoped it would. He’s a skittish dog, so I had concerns he’d be afraid of it & not drink. He did just fine, after a few minutes of safety sniffing, lol.The only issue I encountered were from user error; it was leaking a bit after I gave pupper some sips & let the unused water flow back into the receptacle. Make sure the flow button is firmly closed & all the water has drained. I found that after you do those things to not firmly close the cup, but rather close it half way & let any water that couldn’t drain into the holder to flow through the opening before closing all the way. The loop to carry is handy but feels upside down at first. I shook the living crap out of it in that position & no water escaped.I found it easy to use as did the pupper. You just need a few moments of trial & error to get the hang of it. I would (& have) recommend it to others.

Super happy with this purchase it is absolutely perfect for what I need!I have a 5 pound Yorkie and my current travel water bottle is very large, considering the size of the dog.This 10 ounce bottle is the perfect size for my Yorkie! The larger bottle takes up more space than I would like in my bag. It makes my bag heavier than I would like. Only a few ounces of water this bottle and it just seemed like such a waste. This ounce size is so much more practical! Even though container only holds 10 ounces of water, the drinking portion is large enough and shaped nicely so that itâs easy for the dog to drink out of. I was a little worried with the bottle being so small that maybe the bowl part would be too small But thatâs not the case at all!!In addition, my current bottle is very hard to operate between unlocking it and then the hard button you have to push to get the water to come out⦠This one, the lock and unlock button slides smoothly, and easily with one finger. Then you press the button, which is also easy and smooth, and the water comes out nicely. This one is so much nicer than my current bottle!! It has a charcoal filter in the lid⦠And honestly, this might be my only constructive criticism. Iâm feeling the bottle with filtered water so I donât really need it filtered again and it stays wet and Iâm not really sure if I can remove it? I donât know, it just seems like an area where bacteria or mold could grow if you donât let it air out long enough before putting the top on? Itâs a nice added touch if you arenât using bottled water⦠But I donât really need it for my use. If a charcoal filter is my only complaint I feel like itâs a great purchase! Super excited, I found this, it is Absolutely perfect. I honestly feel like I am a little too excited about thisâ¦. But it is honestly such an upgrade!Ps: I just realized two other things that make this bottle better than my current one! When the bowl is open, and you tilt it back toward the bottle, it doesnât leak out in between the bottle and the bowl! Also, if you then press the button and lift it up, the water actually goes back into the bottle. Again, this might go back to whether having a filter there is a good idea or not because now youâre running their dirty water back through the filter so I guess youâre cleaning the water that has already been touched but then if thereâs grass or dirt that get stuck in the filter? I do like this feature though because sometimes I will feel the bowl and my dog decides sheâs not thirsty and then I have to dump it out. It would be nice if she didnât drink out of it to just put it back in the bottle! Especially with the smaller capacity, it would be nice not to waste any of it. I like it even more! Lol

Great for a small/medium sized dog
We purchased this for our passenger princess, Madison. We spent many a road trip filling up a bowl or cup from one of our water bottles and then dumping what she did not drink out the window. I saw this product and figured it was time to leave those days of struggle in the past. I love the fact that it has a built-in filter for the water and a strap to carry it easily. The product itself is great, very easy to use and does not leak or spill. You unlock it, press the button and the water flows, and then press the button again and tilt it for the water to go back into the bottle. I would say this is perfect for a small to medium sized dog to drink out of comfortably and with little to no backsplash. My chihuahua drank from it easily and did not make a mess. My hound mix and lab mix on the other hand, both created quite the mess from drinking on account of smaller bowl area. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product as it is a great compact, handheld way to bring your furry companion water on any adventure!
