Simple idea that is a lot of fun and a bit addicting.
They weren’t exactly what I thought they were going to be, but they turned out to be a lot of fun and a good way to pass the time when I was recovering in the hospital. Easy to put down and pick back up later to complete. They range from easy to fairly difficult so everyone can find one that matches their skill (or patience) level.

    So fun
I bought this for my 11 year old son as a birthday present but I ended up enjoying it just as much as he did! When it first arrived it looked so small (my fault for not reading the dimensions) but the pages actually turned out to be the perfect size. The puzzles were easy enough to not take forever/get frustrated but challenging enough to keep his interest. The colors are vibrant and the paper is thick enough to hold its shape but not too thick to fold nice neat creases. I’m so happy to have found a non-electronic gift that the whole family can enjoy. (Pictured was one of our first attempts so it’s not perfect but still came out cute. I unfolded it afterwards so you can see). I’ll definitely be ordering the second Foldology set.

This is amazing, and a lot of fun!
I bought it as a “filler” item. I thought it was a gimmick that won’t actually work as advertised.Boy was I wrong! This is so much fun! The pictures are cute, and my 8 y.o. like them. The puzzles start easy but get harder. But they are all (so far) really good.

    Just too much fun!
I really enjoyed Origami and the Origami books and paper I had when I was a child. And I saw this and it was like “oh, fun!” because it’s Origami, and it’s puzzles. I love puzzles. I’ve done maybe half of them so far and yes, they do get harder and harder.A tip for easier play: When you first get the paper for the puzzle out, pre fold on all the lines were it’s obvious there’s going to be a fold of some sort. Even if the fold is going to go the other way, it’s still easier if the paper is pre-creased. (I learned that years ago.)As for age…I’m 70. I like this. It’d be great to tuck in a purse for traveling or being at my cousin’s house. There is NOTHING to do there except watch TV and I tend to find most of the stuff on TV boring. Well, maybe just the channels she watches.Big problem is that once the pages are out of the book, they’re floating loose. What I did was get one of those “zippered” sandwich bags, which is big enough to tuck the whole pad of paper into, plus all of the finished puzzles. Why am I keeping them? I’m planning to unfold, iron them flat, and re-play them at some point. They definitely should be good for more than one attempt. Some of them are quite devious.

    Tiny, Overpriced book
It’s extremely overpriced considering the size and quality of paper.Edit: the customer service is fantastic so I gotta add more stars.

Great to have at your desk for a quick break
I enjoy origami and have a book of it on my desk for moments when I need a mental break from the tasks I’m doing. This is an excellent addition to that! It’s smaller than origami paper, but the weight of the paper is good– easy to fold and has a pleasant feel to it, similar to newspaper but much better quality. The print quality is also very good and the photos are cute. I like the progression of the puzzles. At the front of the book, there’s light green sheets that are meant to be the easiest, and purple sheets at the back which are the hardest. It feels really well organized. It’s a good size for travel but I would be concerned about accidentally folding the pages while it’s in a bag or pocket. Probably will need something to protect it while traveling, maybe make a cover of cardstock or find a reasonable sized envelope. I noticed on their website, that there are two more puzzle books after this which are meant to continue and provide more challenge. Definitely intend to buy them when I am done with this one.

The images/puzzles printed on the paper are sometimes out of line and are lower resolution images. Great gift idea though

Only done the first half dozen, but the difficulty does seem to ramp up a bit. It’s not just about folding to make the picture, you need to fix the back of the puzzle too.As a recent Origami folder I can see this as helping me develop my skills.

This was meant for a gift but was too embarrassed to gift it as it was rediculously small and cheap. Gave it to my daughter instead.
