Fresh Wave Citrus Odor Removing Pet Spray
It does a decent job. I use it to freshen up the living room furniture in between cleanings. It smells really nice and citrusy. It helps with removing light odors, but for heavy odors, don’t expect this to perform miracles. I love that it’s safe for pets and doesn’t leave any spots on the furniture. Not a bad value for the amount in the bottle.

    Wonderful smelling product!
The Fresh Wave Citrus Odor Removing Pet Spray, 16 Fl. Oz is a great wonderful smelling product which is meant for pet odor but can be used to refresh bathrooms and other stinky area. If you are like me and suffer from allergies driven by the artificial smells (they give me a headache), these are something good to try. The citrus smell is prominent though it is supposed to be a mix of Lemongrass, clove, pine, cedarwood and anise on top of lemon and citrus.

    It’s okay
I’m a little on the fence with this. The smell is peculiar, I can’t quite describe it. When I first spray it, I don’t find it to be very pleasant, but after a minute or two, it seems to mellow out. It also doesn’t seem to last very long, so I wouldn’t call it odor neutralizing. I have 2 very fluffy double-coated dogs who don’t smell the greatest after rolling around in the yard after I cut the grass. It takes a day or 2 to air the house out and I appreciate the neutralizing sprays to help with that, but this one just really didn’t last very long.

    Strong odor
I have a 17 year old cat that has hit the last phase of her life. It’s time we make the decision but it’s a hard decision to make. She is using the bathroom in front of the litter box and not actually going into the box.The litter box is tucked into a cabinet in the laundry room. There’s a hole cute out in the cabinet door so the cats can go in and out. She’s not doing that so instead, she’s using the floor or other area’s of the house. I had to throw a blanket away along with a pair of sneakers and I may need to trash one of my couches if I can’t get it cleaned. :(I have my go to odor illuminator that I use but decided to try this product to see if it works just as well. I received it through the Amazon Vine Program to try for free.Out of the gate, I noticed a strong odor. It’s not a fully bad odor but it is strong.Since I have parrots in my home, I err on the side of caution when it comes to spraying anything other than the vinegar, dish soap & water mixture I use to clean.I needed to get the floor of my laundry cleaned though. It stunk so bad.Rather than spraying, I took the lid off and dumped a little on the floor and used an old sponge to clean the floor really well.At this point, I can’t tell you if it just masked the urine smell or got rid of it. This concoction is very strong. When it dried, it did smell better in the laundry room. I didn’t put my nose to the ground to check and see if the smell went away completely but I stuck my head in and I didn’t get smacked in the face by the smell of urine.Unfortunately, it didn’t last long because my cat was in there using the floor again. Ugh.We actually made the decision to bring her to the vet as her last end of life journey. Actually doing it to a pet I’ve had for over 17 years is another story. I was there when she was born and the second she came out, I knew I was keeping her. For 17 1/2 years, she’s been my Princess Kitty.I had a few blankets to wash so I threw them in the wash last night and added a little of this odor eliminator. I don’t know yet if it worked. There wasn’t urine on the blankets, just the smell of dog.I also used it on a concoction I made to wash one of my rugs. The rug, also from the Amazon Vine Program, is my favorite rug. Princess had a couple accidents on it. The rug is washable but it was too heavy and too large for me to throw in my washing machine so I took it on the deck to wash it.I used the concoction I made and sprayed the whole rug then I hosed the rug off.The concoction was a teaspoon each of laundry soap, this odor eliminator, laundry sanitizer, Gonzo disinfectant cleaner, white cleaning vinegar & the rest of the bottle filled with water. It is going to take a few days for the rug to dry so I’ll update as to how this stuff works once the rug is dry and I can bring it back in.As of right now, I’m kind of on the fence if it works or not and won’t be able to fully confirm or deny until Princess has gone to kitty heaven and I do a thorough cleaning.I think it works but will confirm. For $11.99, I say it’s worth the buy to at least try as long as you are ok with heavier smells.Picture of Princess kitty and I for attention.

Works well on pet urine odors. Has an unusual smell.
This works well on pet urine odors. The smell is a little different to me. I don’t really smell citrus. It is an odor that definitely has a hint of clove and something else. It’s not my favorite. But, as far as spraying it on items that have been soiled with urine it works great. I spray the item and then wash it without a laundry detergent. It comes out smelling neutral. Not really like the spray and definitely not like the urine. I tried it a few times on the floor. It did eliminate the urine odor. I just don’t care for the smell of the spray in the general area. Please, don’t let my opinion on the smell be a deciding factor. I honestly absolutely hate clove odors. To another person it may be pleasant. I can say that it definitely works well for its intended use.

Doesn’t neutralize or elimiate cat urine, but masks it pretty well
There’s no odor on earth quite like cat urine, and very few as universally disliked. Anyone with at least one cat has likely looked for a product that can help with…misplaced…cat pee.I’ve tried some products made specifically for this purpose. Nature’s Miracle does the best job, but it has its own odor and can be expensive. Other products not made for pet odor (e.g. Febreze) generally can’t do an acceptable job. This comes somewhere in the middle.Pros:* Nice citrusy odor that’s not unpleasantly strong* You get lots of it for your money* Does a *pretty good* job covering up the cat urine scentCons:No matter how much I use, I cannot cover up the urine smell completely. This may mask most of the sour, unpleasant notes, but that sharp ammonia note always comes through.I’d say if you have a variety of uses for this (say, tamping down smells in the kitchen, bathroom, and litter box area), then this is a great product to keep and use. If you need something specifically for strong pet pee odors, I’d recommend that you keep looking.
