Great, but needs a grip
This slip lead is great, but I would recommend a little padding on the handle. If the dog pulls you may get rope burns. I added some felt that had adhesive on it that works perfect. The size is 1″ thick, which seems a bit thick for most dogs, but is super durable and easy to hold. To make this leash more versatile, you can unloop it and add a double bolt clip and you have yourself a standard leash. My dog is in-between training and almost mastered walking on a leash, so she’ll pull only sometimes. When she is really pulling a lot and needs guidance we use the slip lead. When she is on a casual walk with no distractions, I’ll turn the leash into a normal leash. At first I didn’t use the stopper but I really like this option now. It makes me feel good knowing I won’t choke the dog or cause injury if the stopper is placed correctly. You can easily move the stopper down if you choose not to use it. The leather slip tab is also very nice and moves smooth and stays put when you need it to.I ordered a used/new at a discounted rate and it truly was a new leash. Tags were still attached. Saved myself a few bucks! The colors are vibrant and many people comment on how nice it looks. The item shipped quick and overall I am very happy with my purchase.

Best Leash Ever
This is the best. Thick and durable. There is a slight stiffness to it that makes it very easy to hold it out so my dog can just stick her head through it â herself. This is very important as she does not like to wear harnesses or collars and has gotten nippy when the process of âsuiting her upâ takes a long time or requires a lot of fuss. Iâve had other slip knot leashes, but this is by far the best looking, most durable feeling, and most importantly, easiest for me and my dog to put on. The patterned leash is extra good looking in-person. It also feels great in my hand. My dog pulls and is extremely strong. It will hold her and keep my hand from being injured. Buy it! The price is amazing for what you get.

Itâs durable
I like itâs easy to use. It has a stop so it wonât choke your dog. Looks awesome and has reflective thread throughout it. My dog was left alone with it and munched it up but itâs still functional. I bought a second one.

This is a great leash, at a great price1 collar or noose, almost never gets under a dogâs legs. A real gift, to the owner! No more bending over, untangling dog legs from their leash.2 Quality of the leash rope is top notch. This wonât snap or rip easily. Sturdy. Easy to clean.3 Leather buckle that makes collar fit to your dogâs neck gives way over time. Itâs leather, it stretches. Older or placid dogs the buckle shouldnât be an issue.Rescued new dog 1 yr ago. Finished leash used training, returned to this leash. Had been my go to with prior pup.Rambunctious puppy, buckle loosened more and more until was useless. One day I the grabbed leash and buckle was gone! Still works without the buckle, but not as well.I took pup to beach, put leash on to leave but gave here one last free run before we left.Came back to me with no leash! Disappeared into the ether.4 Quality for price of leash a bargain. After leash went missing at beach I tried another new leash, some old leashes. None as good as this. I just purchased a new one. Great for potty training!
This is a slip on leash, not a clip on, so you it comes with a loop that you slide around your dogâs neck. The loop tightens as your dog pulls. When I first received this product for my new puppy, I failed to read the description, so I was a bit confused about what I ordered. I didnât think it would be useful. Boy was I wrong! This leash is PERFECT for new puppy parents. When your puppy wakes you up at 5 am, you quickly put it around their neck and rush them to go potty. It really saves you from a lot of accidents. This leash helped my dog learn to potty, prevent a ton of pee accidents, and taught her a sense of urgency. We donât waste time clipping on a leash.Now, I clearly love the function of this leash. I also love the color ( I got the olive) and its sturdiness. It is thicker than other leashes Iâve found here. It is durable, and it didnât break when my puppy chewed on it. She has sense graduated from this leash, but I sometimes use it when I want to take her out quickly.

100% would buy again
I use this lead daily, as a pet boarding manager. Its held up walking giant breeds, to mini breeds. The leather bits have held up through washing and getting soaked from baths. Ive washed it several times in a commercial washer with no issue. I do recommend washing it in a laundry bag, and hang drying. Drying the lead in a dryer can twist the cord, and make it more stiff and weird.Overall a great slip lead, and the bright color helps me keep up with it as well

Exactly what I wanted!
This leash is perfect for quick walks to the mailbox or a potty break. When we travel, my dog has a collar and matching leash, but he doesn’t wear his collar all the time at home. This one-piece combo is exactly what I wanted. I can adjust the loop to go over his head then slide it secure. The opposite loop is the hand grip. I love the heft of the woven cord. It’s the right length for me to keep stride with my dog, but there’s not too much extra to manage when we’ve got business to do. For example, when we get up in the morning, I take him out to relieve himself first thing. It’s still dark. I’m in my pajamas. He needs to go! I take this leash off the hook by the door, secure it over his head, slip on flip flops, and we’re out the door in seconds. It’s just exactly the right thing.

Over the years we have purchased many different style leashes from all different local and online pet stores. This might be our favorite leash we have ever purchased, and it was extremely affordable! It is extremely convenient to just have to slip it over our pups head and not have to worry about any buckles or snaps. The cord is high quality, it is very thick but remains light and easy to handle. Weâve been using it daily for about 2 months so far and it still looks new, very durable to this point. Would definitely recommend to all dog owners!

Nice and sturdy leash. Easy to put on and off and it has made a difference in my walks with my dog, quite the improvement, heâs more relaxed and not pulling as much – wish I had gotten this leash before. Just note that the placement of the leash is really important for it to work properly, itâs not meant to be used around the neck but high behind the ears – it makes a difference, worth stopping and adjusting if you need to.

I have a 50lb German Shepherd mix and this works great for her. I prefer a slightly thinner rope as I have small hands, but I can still use this, and it is more comfortable for my dog than the thinner rope would be. I love the colour (teal) and it seems strong and durable, however I have only had it a short time. Even when it is wet it is easy to hold onto.It looks exactly as the image shows. The faux leather pieces are quite soft. I thought they would hurt my hands but they do not.
