my cat loves this
This is a great cat toy, keeps her busy, she is older and needs the exercise, this is perfect. Battery seems to last long. No remote control but does shut off in 15 minutes, which is about the time she is tired. I bought another kind that shoots laser beam way out, however my cat loves this more as it goes around.

NO MORE âHide n Seekâ !!!
One and half weeks ago I adopted two âyoungâ kittens from my local animal rescue/shelter. I have yet to see one of them (the black one) scepter for a few scoots across the floor to under a chair. Kahlua (in the picture) has come out of hiding and is chasing the laser, trying to step on it with her paws or snag it. Itâs hilarious! At the onset I was told they had been raised and cared for at the shelter in cat condos and that I needed to âgive it at least 2 weeksâ before, hopefully, they will both feel safe enough to venture from under the sofa! This cat laser REALLY, REALLY works. As I said, theyâve never been out of the condos. Thatâs what I was told, so theyâve never had this kinda room, meaning the whole house. THIS ITEM brought one of the Shyest kittens Iâve ever owned or seen. So, PLEASE take my word, IT WORKS and is hilarious. Set your phone on video and try not laugh so loud that you scare it away. I use the RANDOM button because it goes around &âback, but itâs never the same. with the laser where itâs to just turning it…it has an AUTOMATIC TIME LIMIT (not sure yet) but somewhere between 5-10 minutes, maybe 15. I give it FIVE STARS….5+ **********

This works pretty well
This toy only does the laser light, but it does that pretty well. It’s simple and easy to work, and the kittens enjoy it. The pattern varies quite a bit which keeps them engaged. Maybe not for super long periods, but it does amuse them for awhile. It’s also a quiet toy which is kind of nice. (Some of the other devices we have make a lot of noise.) It can tip over, but that doesn’t seem to happen often, maybe because the focus is on following the light rather than capturing the device itself. And it seems solid, not that fragile. For a price point of just under $14, I think it’s a good buy.

Great product for entertaining kitties!
Our kitties love this laser! Itâs nice that you can turn it on and not have to actively be playing with them like with a manual laser. The top spins 360 degrees, so weâve found itâs best on the floor in a fairly clear space (as opposed to up on a table) so they can chase it no matter which direction it goes. It shoots a couple feet out when itâs on the ground, but thatâs plenty for them to chase it around in circles and even all play at the same time. Itâs definitely stable, and it makes a little noise but not anything that bothers us or the cats. Automatically turns off after 15 minutes.Wish there were settings for how long it stays on so you could make it stay on even longer because theyâd probably play with it for an hour they love it so much! Also wish you could turn it on remotely when youâre at work or away, but I havenât found a product like that yet.Itâs great for rainy days or getting energy out at night. Would definitely recommend this!

Itâs alright.
I found one of these previously and unexpectedly at Aldiâs. However, the one from Aldi was not only cheaper, but I liked the functionality more. This is a bit pricey in my opinion for what youâre getting. While the battery life is good, the laser doesnât stay on long.

Frustration in Disguise: A Review of the Friends Forever Interactive Laser Cat Toy
The Friends Forever Interactive Laser Cat Toy promises endless entertainment for your feline friend. However, this automatic laser pointer falls short of expectations in several ways, leaving both you and your cat feeling frustrated.**Unpredictable Playtime**The advertised automatic rotation feature seems like a great idea, but in practice, it can be more of a nuisance. The random movements can confuse cats rather than intrigue them. The 15-minute shutoff timer might seem reasonable, but it can interrupt playtime just as your cat is getting engaged.**Questionable Quality and Safety**While the concept is interesting, the quality of the Friends Forever Interactive Laser Cat Toy leaves something to be desired. Several user reviews mention issues with the laser itself becoming weak or malfunctioning after a short period of time. There have also been concerns raised about the laser potentially being harmful to a cat’s eyes if shined directly into them. It’s important to be cautious when using any laser pointer with pets and never shine it directly in their eyes.**Limited Appeal, Frustrating Execution**While some cats might be initially drawn to the random laser movements, the novelty often wears off quickly. The short playtime cycles and unpredictable movements can leave cats confused and frustrated rather than exercised and stimulated.**Looking for a Better Option?**If you’re looking for a way to keep your cat entertained with a laser pointer, it might be best to skip the Friends Forever Interactive Laser Cat Toy. A simple, manually controlled laser pointer offers more control over playtime and allows you to direct the laser in a way that’s more engaging for your cat. It’s also important to remember that playtime with your cat shouldn’t be solely focused on laser pointers. Interactive toys and feather wands can provide a more well-rounded play experience.

Didn’t even use the first set of batteries before the laser failed. Only used about twice a week for not quite two months. Disappointed.
