This is a great product! Tons of features and great video / audio
This was purchased to keep an eye on my rescue doberman, who had severe separation anxiety. The doggy nanny cam works great. You can control it from your phone to move the camera almost in a full circle, but it also tracks your animal when itâs moving so you donât even have to manually do it, it records, any type of activity that your dog or animal does whether it be crying , throwing up , going to the bathroom, barking any of that is recorded and labeled accordingly to what activity theyâre doing. It has an automatic feature that plays, soothing music when the dog cries for an extended period of time and it also has the option to deliver treats to them at the push of a button on your phone. If youâve placed treats in the dispenser, I will say the treat dispenser does not work that great though. But that is the only complaint that I would have because every other thing about this camera is great. Highly recommend.

A must have for dog owners!!
âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸The Furbo Dog Camera has been a game-changer for me and my pup! I love being able to check in on my dog while Iâm at work or out for the day. The video quality is excellent, even at night, and the 160-degree wide-angle lens lets me see the entire room. The two-way audio feature is amazingâI can talk to my dog and even calm him down if heâs feeling anxious. One of the best parts is the treat-tossing feature! My dog has so much fun with it, and it keeps him entertained when Iâm not home. Plus, Furbo sends bark alerts and even activity updates, so Iâm always in the loop on what heâs up to. I feel so much more connected to my dog, and it gives me peace of mind knowing I can check in on him anytime. Worth every penny for pet parents!

Cats love it!
It’s super easy to setup and it’s nice to be able to keep an eye on my cats when I’m not home, and I find the treat feature is just funny to me how my cats race to a treat before the other gets to it. Mine usually shoots out 2-5 treats at a time (it varies). I’ve been putting Temptations treats and the Friskies treats in and it works just fine. Occasionally, it might jam or not come out, but I just press the treat button again and it clears itself.I recorded my own sound with the words, “Treat, treat!” Since that is how I normally tell them I’m giving them a little snack. The speakerphone is very clear and every time I talk through it while watching them, my cats get very excited and happy.I haven’t had any connection issues whatsoever, thankfully. I also got the Cat Cam with the subscription, and it’s pretty useful. The app only has maybe a 1 second delay, 2 seconds at most, when I’ve tested it. The picture quality is great! The little teaser toy it came with is cute, but my cats don’t care for it (because, cats).Overall, I LOVE this thing and it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made for my cats. I highly recommend.

Updated: I bought 2 of these 1.5 years apart, with sub. App could use work but the camera is great
UPDATE NOV 2020: I bought another one (when it was on sale for about 40% off, I would not pay full price if planning on using without premium features – Furbo’s premium bundle may be a cheaper option if you are willing to shell out the full price) about a year and a half after my first purchase as I had to leave my first one behind in a different country when I returned home due to COVID conditions. The first time around I had the premium subscription feature, but this time I decided I only need the treat tossing and camera feature so I am currently using it on regular features. While I was on the sub, they would periodically send surveys asking things like which features would you like, how much would you be willing to pay for these features, etc. They have since taken away many of the free features and added them to the sub so obviously the rest of their clientelle is richer than I am. But they did keep the basics which is what I need so I am okay with that so far. Free feature comes with the camera (+ audio), treat tossing, voice recording to play when tossing a treat, and barking alerts. Premium features more or less make the Furbo into a security camera (person alert, alarm alert, etc.) which was useful for me on the first one because I lived on my own (it would let me know when apartment management came by to do maintenance while I wasn’t home, etc.) but not so much anymore because we have a separate security camera system at my current place. The product has not changed much (the app has updated – keep reading for app review), the camera is still great, 1080p with great night vision. Functionality has not changed either, I am using Zuke’s brand training treats and it tosses out 3-5 at a time (they are 2 calories each so this is a good amount). I do not have Alexa connected to the new one so I don’t know how much improvement there has been for that. The issue I had with the app is connecting the new device. The green light indicating the device was on connection mode was on but the app would do nothing when I pressed next. I spoke to the live chat help within the app but it crashed when I attempted to upload a photo of the device serial number as they requested and couldn’t get back into the chat room again. They then contacted me by e-mail to follow up (good customer service on that end, though I fixed the issue on my own by then). The issue was that the app asks you for permission to access location when setting up first, but if you click on “only this time” instead of “all the time” the app will not respond for whatever reason. It connected properly once I gave it location access for “all the time” (I took away the permission after set up and it works fine without it). One star off for that this time because app needs some troubleshooting. I did not have many issues with the app prior to the update. Also I recorded the same thing I had on the first camera to play when tossing a treat and my dog still recognizes it (:——FIRST REVIEW AUG 2019:I bought this camera after doing a lot of research on other pet cameras. I specifically wanted one that could do wifi streaming, treat tossing, and Alexa capability. It does all those things plus night vision quality is great, but like some other reviewers mentioned Alexa does not work correctly so one star off for that (but that could also be an Alexa specific thing, as she has trouble with some of my other appliances). I mainly use it to keep an eye on my 9 month old pup who likes to eat my chairs while I’m gone to class and on my 1 month old Roomba that likes to chase her around. Works great for that purpose and night vision quality is great, much better than I originally anticipated. Treat tossing is good too, at first I used kibbles but it shoots out a lot at once so I switched to larger treats broken into pieces. My pup learned very quickly that my voice coming from it means cookies. It also doubles as a security camera with person detection. Also the daily diary videos are a hoot! I look forward to watching them every day (:

A must if you love your dog
The Furbo Treat Dispenser and Camera has been a game-changer for me and my dog. The 360-degree view and automatic tracking are incredibleâI can see what my dog is up to no matter where he goes in the room. The activity recognition feature is surprisingly accurate; I get notifications when heâs walking, eating, or even crying, which has helped me feel so much more connected to him when Iâm not home. One of my favorite features is the customization. I programmed Furbo to play calming music and dispense a treat when it detects heâs upset, and itâs made a noticeable difference in his behavior when Iâm away. The camera quality is fantastic, and the app is easy to navigate, but I did notice the treat dispenser can jam if the treats are too big. Once I switched to smaller treats, it worked flawlessly.Overall, Furbo has given me so much peace of mind and has made being apart from my dog a lot less stressful for both of us.

I have 3 different Furbo models in my home, and this is the only subscription that I budget as “necessary”. I have a little elderly cockapoo with separation anxiety and dietary issues that basically mean he either needs a babysitter or constant surveillance. This is where the Furbo has absolutely changed my life. The alerts are awesome, the nanny report is helpful and downright hilarious half the time, I have 3 on the same app and they were super easy to set up and use. I just love this product and the way it’s helped me track my guy’s meals, activity, nervousness. I even get to see if he’s night wandering with the Night vision recording.I have gotten to see the smoke alarm alert and it was immediate and very engaging. It caught when something mounted above my desk fell and startled my little guy.I adore this product. I will never go without as long as I have a pet, and I feel fine leaving my guy to go to work or run errands knowing I can talk to him or toss him a goodie if he’s not at his best.
