Now I can’t get my cat out of it. LOL
I ordered this to replace an OLD (20 years old) pet bed that our Cocker Spaniel had used as it was broken down, falling apart and very difficult to remove and replace the cover for cleaning. This one is a tad smaller than the one we had, but it actually fits our large cat better. When it arrived and we set it up, he put one paw in and walked away. We left him alone with it and came back about 5 minutes later to find him curled up in it and sound asleep. Winner, winner! He spends the night in his new bed and is there well into the morning. He loves it! It is soft, warm, and so easy to clean. Removing the cover to wash and replacing it is so very easy. The only issue we have with it – and it’s not really an “issue” is getting the cat out of it so we can wash it. LOL.I very much recommend this pet bed and I wish I could find one ‘human size’ for me….

Great bed until washed
The dog bed was perfect until the first washing. The lining fabric disintegrated in my washer creating a huge mess and the padding for the bed surface bunched up and could not be flattened out. I would love to send it back so the manufacturer can see what a “hot mess” this dog bed is when washed. I am out the purchase price, not to mention the washing machine mess.

I bought this for an elderly cat (he is 20 years old with bad arthritis in his hips) the cat loves it spends alot of time in it it is very soft and sturdy perfect for his aging body to be able to relax in…… The only problem is when you take it apart to wash it in a washing machine the egg crate bottom goes in the wash as well causing it to become misshapen and uncomfortable for an elderly cat… I have a similar bed for another aging cat but it has an egg crate pillow that is removable and it has a removable cover as well and on the pillow.. I was hoping this one would be the same…. So the only way to clean this cat bed is by hand so it remains comfortable for the elderly kitty… I give it 4 out of 5 stars because it is soft, sturdy, real good quality, and my elderly cat likes it… However it’s a little hard to clean without destroying the bottom pillow, unless it’s done by hand.

Looks neat and tidy even after lots of use
Man, this thing holds up and keeps looking good no matter how much my dog uses it. The cream inside bit still doesn’t look dirty. The outside still looks firm and isn’t wrinkled. And my dog loves it. She is sort of a big dog for this bed, but she likes to also have a little bed that holds her when she curls up.

Don’t go cheap, buy another bed
My dog has beds in almost every room but we recently re-decorated a room and he needed a new bed. My old standby bed went up to $70 in price so I ordered this instead but it is not even as nice. It has foam in the bottom but if you push down with your hand you will feel the hard floor underneath the padding so it is not sufficient. It has a zipper so in theory you can remove the cover and wash it. The pad is inside and there is no separate bed cushion inside like the Petco version of this ultra suede bed. The bottom of this bed has a black mesh like fabric that I doubt will hold up to many washings and it causes it to slide around a lot more on a hardwood floor. I went cheap and regret it. I added a nice plush blanket inside to add more padding for our 9lb dog but I would not recommend this bed. I can’t see how it is orthopedic at all when the padding is not a great quality nor provide enough support or cushion but you get what you pay for.
