Works pretty good so far.
I ordered this water bowl because our kitten LOVES to play in water. She loves to flick the water everywhere. This has a floating tray that limits the amount of water that is exposed and has a screen to protect the main water supply from getting hair and other contaminates. She still likes to flick water in this bowl as well but no where near the mess I was dealing with using a large open water bowl. I tried a glowing watering bowl with limited water area but she wanted to play in that all day.I am pleased with this bowl so far and have no issues with our dog and the cat sharing.

I had another “no spill” H2o bowl for my dogs but it was plastic and square … while it worked, my one dog still tracks water around the floor and the white plastic clashes with the stainless food bowls.This bowl is stainless, but with it being a darker color, it does come off looking like a big cooking pot… and it is BIG in terms of how much water it can hold. My 2 dogs do drink a fair amount of H2o, so still good from that perspective, but it does sort of dwarf the food bowls and take up space.Use is standard … can pop top off if you want to clean insides; dogs quickly adjusted from other to this one; and, seems like my one dog is tracking quite as much water after drinking.The Bottom Line: Biggest complaint is that it looks so much like a big pot I would cook with… seems more appropriate if you have big dogs and not the 2 smaller dogs I have. I do like the “no spill” aspect of these types of bowls given how much my hairy muzzle pup walks away dripping with a regular, open face bowl. I would still recommend since it’s just bigger than what I ideally need, but that’s my situation and not necessarily yours… the quality is there.

Great No Spill Bowl for Large Pets!
This bowl was bigger than I expected, which I am very pleased about. We have multiple dogs and this holds way more water than our standard large water bowl. The design itself looks sleek and high quality – it doesn’t stand out dramatically wherever you decide to put it. We actually bought this for our RV and tested it out at home first, but now we plan to buy another to have one in both!Aside from this dramatically reducing spillage and slobber, I really love that the middle hole that allows water to flow has a filter in it. I constantly dump and refill our dogs water because they’ll drink after being outside and dirt, mud, pieces of pinecone, etc will be floating in the water. I just picked up the floating disk, dumped it, and put it back. Great side feature!Would definitely recommend this bowl for larger pets or if you have multiple. Your mop will thank you.
