Light, and extremely easy to clean.
A little fragile, but they are so inexpensive and thin, that’s not a big deal. Simply wiping with a paper towel dislodges dried cat food, and it goes through the dishwasher great. The cats have not criticized them. Just, uh, don’t step on them, like I’ve done, because they’ll break. Of course.

Love these for my cats
I have several rescue cats and so when I needed new plates for them, I was hoping to get plates just like this, at around this price point, quality, and quantity.The shape and size are just right for the cats, they’re easy to clean, they’re easy to stack in twos or threes when each has 1/4 dry kibble on it (this stacking is handy when you have several cats at your feet waiting to be fed), and I like also that they are pleasantly enough colored but have no design/ are plain, because I have some cats that have vision impairment, and it’s easier for them to see their food on plain plates (and most plates out there have cute designs, but I can’t use them).Also, these microwave well. I usually reheat a small portion of refrigerated food for a couple of the cats for about 8 seconds each on my old plates, but on these, I can get away with 6 seconds each to get the food to the same temp and the plate is still not hot or even warm. I like that I don’t have to use even two extra seconds of nuking power on my cats’ food. Plus these aren’t plastic like my old plates were, so I wonder if the wheat straw fiber conducts the heat a little different from the plastic ones.

Money saver
I purchased these for my 2 naughty kitties. They enjoy their food fresh; a different dish is required for every meal. I have been using paper plates, but it was getting crazy expensive. Now, there are enough dishes to rotate for each meal and I just stick the dirties on the top rack of my dishwasher and push a button….. Well worth the money. Becca

These are really nice and don’t take up much space
I was using disposable paper plates because I had surgery last year and couldn’t do cat dishes every day. I figured that it will only take me 40 days to recoup the expenditure here (actually less…because I didn’t figure in the paper plates). And these are easier to wash than what I was previously using too. Pretty colors. I did step on one and break it though. So just don’t step on them and you’re good.

I wish there were different colors but they are amazing and work exactly as intended. Very easy to clean and put away in a stack, very neat little size and pretty stable for hand washing. Have not used in the microwave for the kitty food or in a dishwasher but they are great as far as my experience

These were plastic, not wheat- based.
Not only were these not made of the wheat-based product as listed in the description, they were expensive for what they wereâcheap plastic. I sent them back. FYI, if youâre okay with a cheap plastic version like this, I recommend purchasing at a Dollar Tree instead. Youâll get a similar product for less money.

Much easier for my cats to eat all of their wet food. They are flat and the cats love to eat from them. They can go into the dishwasher and store well. I will buy more as I also put their dry in one and the treats in another.
