Pricey but nice
When I originally wrote this review (below), I gave it 4 stars because of the cost…… But after possessing a hedgehog for almost a year, and it still working perfectly- even after much cat abuse I decided to up the rating to 5 star despite the cost… These things are really nice…. The only disappointment I have come across is that all three bird styles make the same 3 alternating sounds instead of 3 unique sounds… Check out my video of the sound that each toy makes… note however that my videos are taken in landscape mode (as all videos should be) so hold your phone sideways for proper viewing if you’re using a phone to view…——————————————The following is my initial review: Four stars because of the cost being so salty but these Gigwi cat toys are apparently very nice and this hedgehog that I got has a great unique sound and the motion sensor for that sound is extremely sensitive to vibration and motion… And the cats love it (especially after I stash it in a jar of catnip pellets for a few days). If they didn’t cost so much per unit I would purchase the entire fleet of Gigwi’s kitty toys. Maybe one day I will!

Cats really enjoy
Weâve had a couple of these already and only have to repurchase because the cats loose them around the house. They are durable and the cats really enjoy the chirps/squeaks the toy makes as they bat it around.

My kitten loves his birdie!
This little birdie is very well crafted, it looks like a real bird! Bosco carries it around the house all the time. Iâm glad I bought two of them because heâs gonna need a new one soon after he gets finished plucking all the feathers off of this one! Excellent gift idea for your cat, loving friends!

Battery life is good , durability awesome. Perfect size. Shaped just like a bird. As far as sound goes, my cats always look every where when l mess with it. Charging is easy, assembly was nothing⦠all is awesome. The only thing, they played with it for a day and that was the end 🙁 . I bought two of them and all three of my cats could care less now, they rather watch the real birds outside. I was so excited to buy these and now they just sniff them and walk away because they know theyâre not real. They stare and charge at the window while looking at the real thing. They look at me like an idiot when I throw this at them . Itâs like theyâre saying, âOk, hoomon, itâs dead or itâs not realâ I wish l could give a great rating but my girls are no fools. Itâs all around a great made item and idea, they just are not impressed and theyâre the real critics. Sorry guysâ¦.. Iâd give it 5 stars but they wonât:(

Hide it before you go to bed!
My 6-month old British Shorthair kitten goes wild over this! It’s well-made and is holding up to his antics. I have to hide it before I go to bed, otherwise I hear tweeting all night. He’s a very playful kitten, but particular about his toys. He highly recommends this little tweety bird.

Chirp not very good
My cat has several chirping birds and mouse toys. This one is quieter and shorter chirps then her others. I also thought I was getting one that the wings moved but that was my mistake. The real feathers on it are nice.

Looks identical to the other bird toy that flaps and chirps, but this toy does not move/flap, it will only chirp, so be warned!That said, one of my cats have still fallen in love with it, so I hear it random chirp waking me up at 2-3am now randomly, oh joy oh joy.

I thought that my cat had lost her squeaky mouse, which she loved, so I needed to order another (of course it turned up the next day!). This one looked like it would fit the bill and had good reviews so I chose it in the mouse form. The first thing I found funny is that the mouse sounds like a bird! The thing my cat really loves about this mouse, and keeps her interest more than with her other similar toys, is that it continues to chirp after the mouse has stopped moving. So she then picks it up and throws it again due to the sound, and the circle continues. You wouldnât think she was an elderly lady. 10/10 from me and the cat. Worth every penny.

Item was received but did not work. I have to pay for shipping to send it back. Not happy, was looking forward to this working. It is supposed to make noises, thought it vibrates but obviously did not. Iâll be careful ordering next time.
