great bowls
These are great little bowls, light and sturdy. they do have “ml” markings inside to measure. If your using something heavy or hot I recommend keeping the bowls together with the insulator in between. I used the bowl by itself to measure boiling water for a dehydrated meal and the bowl felt hot and a little flimsy when full to the brim with boiling water. Together was much better. I already have 2 of these sets that came with my GSI Pinnacle Dualist kit, but needed an extra one for family camping as we were one bowl short last outing.Over all I would HIGHLY recommend these bowls, they work great.

Almost perfect
GSI has always given me durable, helpful products and this bowl set is no different. They’re lightweight, easy to clean, just the right size, and strong.But there are two disappointing things:1. The lid has no tab to make it easy to lift, so I keep hurting my fingers trying to get it off.2. There is a sticker on the entire outside of the bowl that I can’t remove. I’ve tried using Goop Off, soaking it in water, scraping it, all with no success.

Just what I wanted
This design is so clever. I love that in a very compact kit you get cup, bowl, lid/plate. I bought this to supplement the GSI dualist cooking kit, since I have more than 2 campers. The product is well made and food/liquid tastes great in it. I like the removable cozy with the sippy hole lid to use the bowl as a cup or even when you are eating hot foods. Great product!

Small and neat nicely into each other
Tools these on high adventure camping at Philmont. Worked perfectly. Very versatile and easy to use. Did not take up much space for having 2 bowls.

Color isn’t match description
Color is not like on description photo. It kind semi transparent.I was trying another color, but it is not like I expect.Last photo it is my old one. Nice, solid color, isn’t?

Larger, but same great quality.
These bowls are larger than the standard ones in other GSI kits (i.e Ketalist). But they are just as good when it comes to quality and ease of use. The snap on lid is great for your hot beverages. I have these bowls nested inside of my Pathfinder Bush Pot and they fit perfectly.

Light weight, packable
I like the design of the nesting “cup” inside the bowl. To be truthful, I use both as bowls. The size are both good for commercial freeze dried meals. Clean up is very easy too. The only part I wonder about is long term if the wrapper around the cup will hold up. It is very loose alread and I get the feeling that long term it will not be elasticy enough to stay on.

Across from the sip opening is a small vent hole to allow continuous pour. Lid snaps on cup very easy but somehow securely. Outside of bowl is slightly burnished giving a grip to the bowl. So while just a bowl and drink mug the GSI folks designed a good quality product at an affordable cost.

I do like this set, but the cup part, I would rather use it as a 2nd bowl or some else. I not say it a bad idea, just not for me as a cup.
