Donât buy this unless you want to catch on fire. After 6 months of use at heat setting 8 (goes to 10), I began to smell burning and inspected the blanket but couldnât find anything wrong. Itâs been a few days of this, but this time I noticed a brown discoloration on the fleece side of the blanket. Upon further inspection, a hole was burned through and I pulled cracked and broken exposed heat coiling out.So glad I caught this. This blanket is dangerous. Idk what the coil covering is made of but it must be cheap. Going back to another brand.
