Almost 100% thornproof but not puppy proof
These glove are wonderful. They are flexible and comfortable to wear yet thorn proof enough to pull brambles in order to cut and then pile those cut brambles into the burn pile. The cuffs extend upo to the elbow. A well designed and manufactured product. My only issue is that my dog is very attracted to them and ate the thumb off one of them already. Not the glove/manufacturers fault. Iâm ordering another pair, just have to keep it high out of the dogs reach when not in use.

Just excellent & versatile!
Great fit, superb quality leather, excellent workmanship, & they not only protect my hands & arms on my rose garden, they protect me while brushing my playful longhaired kitten & when I have to put my huge psychiatrically fearful cat in his carrier to go to the vet every year!

Great gardening gloves!
These gloves fit well, really protect your hands and lower arms, and still allow easy hand and finger movement . I bought another pair for my daughter-in-law who also gardens and she loves them as well. They are particularly helpful when pruning roses and other plants with thorns or “stickers”. I highly recommend them!

Be Careful not to reverse the gloves for cleaning
This is a pair of âtoughâ gardening gloves which should last for a long time and not easily worn out. I have used it for more than 6 months and thus am able to provide an objective view of its performance. They are tightly fitted and thus you may want to choose your size carefully. I would say pick a slightly larger size if you want to wash them. The gloves are thick and thus provide good protection against sharp thorns and scratches from branches. It also means that thick gloves reduce flexibility. Itâs a trade-off issue we must understand when we select this kind of gloves.I do like these gloves but found one major disadvantage: itâs very hard to clean. If you are hoping to hand wash it, you need to pick a sunny day so that you can dry it outdoors. However, I do considerable gardening work in Fall where I need to use gloves. Fall weather doesnât allow quick drying outdoors. I made a terrible mistake by flipping it inside out, thinking that I can brush the inside and dry it faster. I would advise against doing this for anyone who wants to try! Please pay attention carefully: you will face TREMENDOUS challenges trying to flip them back again. This is because the leather is not easy to flip inside out. Even when they are almost dry, itâs difficult to reverse it. Trust me, this is really not easy! I have to use a pair of piers to pull out all the fingers, as you know, it may damage the gloves!I wish there is an easy way to wash the inside of the gloves. This is something the manufacturer must think about. Otherwise, what I would suggest is to soak the gloves in soap water for cleaning the inside, and then hang it outdoors to dry thoroughly before next use. Do not use a dryer because it may damage the leather. Hope my two cents worth review will be helpful to you. Happy gardening!

The Best Glove for the Discerning Rosarian
As a relative newbie on the Rose scene, I was unaware just what a difference it makes to have a really good pair of pruning gloves. After barely making do with my standard garden gloves for a while, I was turned on to these lovelies, and they have changed my rose game. I have pruned the thorniest of roses with these babies and not one thorn has poked through. I love that they cover my arms and protect them from sun in addition to the pesky thorns. They look pretty and are surprisingly comfy, as far as pruning gloves go and have made pruning roses so painless that it’s a chore that I actually look forward to. The only downside that I have found is it has made rose care so easy that I have felt the need to add to my rose collection exponentially.

Smells funny at first, but great for working with animals that might bite or scratch
Our little boy rabbit weighs almost exactly 1 kilo. That’s a little over two pounds. He’s adorable, with grey fur and a bright white chest and chin. Such a cutie. And. No matter how cute, no matter how little, these creatures (and guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters, etc.) are, they come with razor-sharp teeth for life. These gloves, though marketed as useful for gardening, really work well for handling creatures that might bite or scratch. Our little guy is calmer now, but the gloves are still a nice way to feel more comfortable handling him.I believe they would also work well for gardening! It’s nice to have the added protection for your forearms in addition to the hands.I’ll observe that they smelled strongly of tanning chemicals (I assume that’s what the smell was) at first. But just a few weeks into owning these, the smell has subsided and they have broken in a bit too.Good choice for working where you’re at risk of getting scratched or bitten!

These are Great Quality Gloves
These gloves came just in time for tree pruning. No scratches on my arms or blisters. They were extremely comfortable and a perfect fit. I warily bought medium and thought they might be too small but when I put them on they “fit like a glove”, proverbially speaking of course.Note: You do have to put the gloves on to prevent blisters. I forgot, when I raked leaves and was promptly reminded, ouch.

Great protection! Good fit.
I was skeptical that these would actually save me from the evil 3/4 inch thorns on my lime tree but they worked perfectly. Picking, pruningâ¦.it all went great. I bought a second pair for my wife and she had the same experience tending her roses.

These gloves are perfect to be kept safe from the sharp prickles On my rosebushes. They have also come in handy with my new puppy. He was Trying to chew on my fingers and hands while he was growing his baby teeth. They stopped him right away from chewing on me whenever I wore Them.
