Very absorbent.
Very absorbent with a nice light scent. Even though it measures to be suitable for a small dog, our dog tends to pee on the edge it. These pads are much more absorbent & do not leak like the larger ones I had previously used of another brand.

These dog pads are my Go-to For Order Control! I and my puppy love the lavender scent. Honestly, it saves me on having to keep buying the room fresher plug-ins. I was spending a-l-o-t of money on the plug-ins.They are quality pads with great absorbency and scent. They are worth the money. I like them better than the charcoal pads in terms of odor Control. I have these on Amazon “Subscribe & Save.”

Lavender scent is great, leakage protection not so much
In my never ending quest to find “perfect” doggy pee pads, I tried these Hartz Home Protection pads with lavender scent. While there are some positives of the pads, they aren’t in my top handful of trusted pee pads. They do have a very noticeable scent of lavender, which I find very pleasant. I am uncertain whether the pads actually resulted in less odor than other brands, but I did like the lavender scent I could smell when I was near the pad.The back of the pad is a pretty lavender color, made of some sort of material to prevent leaks. One thing that I really dislike about the backing, however, is that it is extremely slippery. I am very careful when walking around pee pads, having fell before, but I still slipped on these pads, and fell very hard. They are exceptionally slippery. I slipped and fell twice, and have huge bruises to show for it.I found that the pads did, for the most part, contain urine without leaking, if it was a small amount of urine. A few times the entire pad was soaked, and it leaked on the sides, however. I wish the pads were larger. They’re on the smaller size, of 21 inches by 21 inches, but the actual absorbent part is smaller, since that accounts for the purple material on the sides.These pads were a very decent price, which is the main reason I purchased them. I had purchased a large order of better quilted and leak proof pads, but shipping was taking a while, so I bought these in the interim. Overall, I like these ok, and would buy them again if I ran out and needed something quick, but I wouldn’t seek them out. There are much better leak proof pads from other brands, that only cost a few dollars more.

My hero and constant companion is a beautiful ten year old rescue dog named Ruby Tuesday. She is smart, loving and personable. She is tolerant of grouchy resident 22 year old cat. That said, she is terrified of the sound of thunder. She uses inside puppy pad when it thunders. She cannot be convinced to venture into the lawn until storm has past. She has always been with me so I can attest to her never having been abused. (In spite of what the cat says, my cooking isn’t that bad. Yes I cook for them) This puppy pad doesn’t leak on the floor (tile) as all other brands have. It doesn’t smell. I’m glad I found it.
