Healers Booties are designed for protection and healing. The Healers boot provides air flow and moisture wicking properties, decreasing the opportunity for infections and shortening recovery time for injuries to the animal. Healers are manufactured with a High Tech medical grade material that is used in the human market for healing wraps. Its outer surface is loop fabric so the hook can attach anywhere. This provides pet owners the ability to get a snug, secure, fit as they wrap the boot around the paw. The Velcro Hook applied is low profile, high tensile strength hook that enables a strong hold, keeping the boot in its place. Healer’s uses the highest quality components available and are made in the USA. They are recommended and used by Veterinarians. Our boots are made to last and are machine washable. Healers Gauze Inserts are designed to fit right inside the boot turning the boot into a non-adhesive bandage. The gauze pads will not stick to the wound while it heals and it has adhesive on the back side so you can place it where you need it. Healers Boots are comfortable, they provide traction on hardwood floors and the synthetic leather sole are perfect for light outdoor use. Best of all they are a bandage that is easy to use and make dressing changes a snap. Healers booties are sold as individual units or in a box set with 2 boots and 2 gauze inserts. They come in 5 sizes from extra small to extra large. Healers Gauze pads can be purchased separately. If you need added protection, check out Healers Leg Wraps. The leg wraps will connect to the boots extending the boot up the leg.

Great product, easy to put on dog’s feet
Great product, easy to put on dog’s feet. Machine washable and water resistant. They are much bigger than I expected, though. I have a Lab/Husky mix, and every other bootie I have purchased for her has had to be an XL because they always run so small. So I just assumed that I would have to get an XL in these as well, but they are much too big. A Large would have been plenty big. (Disclaimer: It does suggest that the XL is recommended for Mastiffs and St. Bernards, etc., so the fault is my own. The description on the listing is not deceiving.) Fortunately, because they wrap around the foot instead of just slip on, I am able to adjust the size to be a little tighter around the ankle. It actually might be better that I have the XL, because my dog has Hepatocutaneous Syndrome and has swollen pads. With the XL, she has plenty of room so there is no added pressure on her pads.

Great But Seem Large
My poor Aussie was bitten on her foot by another dog and developed a horrible case of necrosis that spread to half her foot. Trying to keep her from working her way around a “cone of shame” was hopeless, especially since it was her front foot. I searched everywhere for a solution, and on a message board someone included a link to these booties. It was absolutely perfect for her.In cases of a would like my pup, it was imperative that her foot be covered, and yet allow the air to get in so chances infection would be lower. These are breathable neoprene with a added “non-slip” patch and Velcro straps. The other perfect part of these was that the toe box was big enough so that it didn’t put undue pressure on her wound. This was especially important after her 3 weeks in surgical wrappings while going through a manuka honey treatment. The Velcro straps work great to ensure the booties don’t come off. This was huge for me because If she got it off, we would be in big trouble. Only on a couple of occasions over 3 months did I have that issue, but that was more that I didn’t secure it well enough. Aussies are also (extremely) active so that also added to it.Durability wise is where I had to remove a star. Granted my pup wore one all day every day for nearly 4 months, she did go through them pretty quickly. I ended up ordering a second pair (this time smaller) to help get us to the finish line. The non-slip toe pads wear out pretty quickly if they are used outside. Also, the star came off because they really aren’t non-slip. They work well, but will your pup be able to fake people out of the shoes on the basketball court? No.Great purchase for my situation and really saved my pup from extreme measures to keep her paw safe. Just know (to me) the seem to run pretty big. She’s 40lbs and the medium was still pretty big on her foot.

Giant, stiff, not the shape of a dogâs paw!
Let me save you some trouble !!! NO!My dog has rear legs issues and I have purchased almost every non-slip paw cover on Amazon. This one is by far the worst. It is so bad it made me laugh when I took it out of the box. (See the photo).I purchased a medium for my 55 lb labradoodle because the reviews said they run large. That is a huge understatement. It is not just that they are giant, they are stiff and not remotely shaped like a dogâs paw. Plus, the vinyl on the bottom is plastic and very slippery. These are cheap crap that were manufactured to make a quick buck with no thought or concern for fit or purpose. Amazon, take this product off your site. It is a disgrace to waste peopleâs time purchasing and having to return this product.

Good quality, odd fit
I got these for my GSD who had a toenail injury and was licking her paws and drying them out along with getting to the injury itself. I have been applying a medicated salve but got these so she wouldn’t lick it off right away and leave her toe alone for a few minutes. The boots are good quality, sturdy padding & velcro, and overall very nice! Unfortunately, the fit for my dog, although ordering the appropriate size, just would not stay on her feet – and it’s not really an issue with getting a smaller size, but moreover an issue with the design – even tightly wrapped she can still kick them off by walking around a little bit. So, overall these are good if your pup likes to relax and lay down, but definitely not for a more active pup.

Buy pet wrap too
My dog will be having foot surgery but they wanted to wait a week for a round of antibiotics he doesn’t see well so the cone was freaking him out so I decided to give this product a try it works great and stays in well but there is a little puckering after it is wrapped that my dog got a hold of and pulled the bootie off so I wrap the bungle with pet bandage and he has left it alone I change it daily and hand wash the boot it does take a long time to dry so I just ordered another pack so it is easier to rotate this is a medical bootie it does not keep the foot dry if they go out in rain or wet grass and it gets wet you should change it it will remain wet for a long time highly recommend way better than cone

Awful design. Won’t stay on.
I needed something to protect my dog’s foot that could be worn outside after a tear in his paw pad. Unfortunately, trying to keep this boot on was an exercise in futility. As for “water resistance”, that couldn’t be further from the truth. My pup walked into damp grass to do his business and when I took the boot off it was wet like a sponge. These are clearly NOT water resistant. To be honest, I also don’t know if there is such a thing as a dog boot that actually works. Maybe if they were cut and formed like a bent paw they would stay put better. However, just being a straight enclosed sleeve (which is what most of these are), they’re not designed to work on dog’s feet. The entire industry needs to learn, where there’s an ankle, there needs to be a bend or the material on the topside of the ankle will push the boot off.

When I tell you I’m crying, I literally mean I’m crying- out of pure joy amd relief. My 9 month old Rottweiler has a burst cyst in between her paws and needs to be on antibiotics for 2 weeks. She will not stop licking her goddang paw. I have tried e collars, cloud collars, bandaging, and every combination of the three (on top of ‘Yuk’ bitter chewing/ licking deterrent spray which did absolutely nothing). She could STILL get to her front paw always (no e collar was long enough). I need to keep the paw clean and dry- rubber balloon booties don’t allow air flow and any other dog boot she gets off with ease. I was desperate, frustrated, and mainly in concern for my baby. These boots are LIGHT and allow air flow so it allows wounds to dry out and heal! It’s like a wrap-around secure Velcro boot that’s strong and my pup is unable to get off (first time ever). Not only that- but they seem COMFORTABLE. She honestly doesnt even mind having it on and it blows my mind. And it comes with removable fitting adhesive gauze inserts for extra sanitation. Even if she gets drool on her paw by trying to get to it, this boot not only protects the would itself from physical contact, but also prevents any saliva/ moisture to reach the wound and keeps her away from getting into any contact orally with the topical cream I’ve been using. Not an outdoor boot- this is the perfect recovery boot. I reccomend this to everyone. S e r I o u s l y.

Unfortunately I did not get to use them. They were too big and this company doesn’t do exchanges unfortunately so it was just a waste of money. I’m sure they would of been useful if they fit.
