Healers Booties are designed for protection and healing. The Healers boot provides air flow and moisture wicking properties, decreasing the opportunity for infections and shortening recovery time for injuries to the animal. Healers are manufactured with a High Tech medical grade material that is used in the human market for healing wraps. Its outer surface is loop fabric so the hook can attach anywhere. This provides pet owners the ability to get a snug, secure, fit as they wrap the boot around the paw. The Velcro Hook applied is low profile, high tensile strength hook that enables a strong hold, keeping the boot in its place. Healer’s uses the highest quality components available and are made in the USA. They are recommended and used by Veterinarians. Our boots are made to last and are machine washable. Healers Gauze Inserts are designed to fit right inside the boot turning the boot into a non-adhesive bandage. The gauze pads will not stick to the wound while it heals and it has adhesive on the back side so you can place it where you need it. Healers Boots are comfortable, they provide traction on hardwood floors and the synthetic leather sole are perfect for light outdoor use. Best of all they are a bandage that is easy to use and make dressing changes a snap. Healers booties are sold as individual units or in a box set with 2 boots and 2 gauze inserts. They come in 5 sizes from extra small to extra large. Healers Gauze pads can be purchased separately. If you need added protection, check out Healers Leg Wraps. The leg wraps will connect to the boots extending the boot up the leg.To best size your pet print sizing chart. Draw your pets paws on paper, measure the widest point and choose the closest size.

Love, love, love these booties
First of all I would like to state that these are medical booties and not your every day, all day, take your dog for a walk bootie as they will not stand up to that use. The bottom coverings actually wear out pretty fast but the neoprene booties themselves are actually pretty durable.Overall I love these and my Rotties have no issues wearing them after they got accustomed to them. If your dog does not like having a bandage wrapped around their foot then these are great as they are soft and pliable. Easy to put on, they stretch, wrap tightly, are easy to clean and prevents the licking. Many reviewers complain that their dog rips them off, well any bootie will get ripped off as it is not natural for a dog to have something on their feet but if you supervise they will get use to them pretty quickly. As you expect, Rotties play hard and when one injures a foot you can slap on some medicine, wrap a bootie and they are good to go. I will always have four or five of these in their medical kits, so much easier and more convenient then bandages. The only negative is the price, $20 for one boot is pretty expensive.

Slides off the paw.
Doesnât stay on. Purchased both a large and a medium size for my 70lb lab and despite the medium fitting better they simply slide off the paw. No wonder size small is never available. There also is nothing to secure a gauze pad inside the boot (like Velcro). My dog had moist dermatitis on one paw and I was looking for something besides a cone to prevent her from licking (especially post application of medication) and from pulling a dressing off while destroying it. The only way I could get the medium size to somewhat work was to wrap the paw in thick Kerlex and Coban before applying the boot which kinda prevents the dog from pulling it off but I still can. However having the boot over a thick dressing kinda defeats its purpose. I think it would be more productive as an outdoor cover to keep the Kerlex gauge and Coban dry because It does not work the way it was intended-as a paw bandage. Also seems less conducive to healing since it blocks air out since itâs not porous. The concept is good but the design is flawed.

Size down!
This product serves its function, my dog got a torn nail, had it cut back the vet, but keeps reopening it on the ice, so far it gives her extra protection to prevent snagging the nail again, but it runs very large! I was alarmed by how massive it was. I have a 70lb German Shepherd/Husky mix and from the chart ordered a large. Definitely size down. The large would fit a Great Dane, or Newfoundland size dog. If you have a lab, GSD, Husky etc, medium would be better.

Amazing customer service product could be improved
You might read this review and go why did I give it so high a rating? Simply put, the reason for giving this 4 stars is because of the customer service. I reached back out to the company about the durability issue and they are taking care of me. They also let me know that they’re looking into a different sole material so hopefully the issue will be fixed in the future. The company obviously cares about their products and wants to improve them, which is why I rated it as highly as I did. Now onto the review. My dog injured her paw and the vet said to keep it covered while outside to keep it clean so I needed something with a wide opening that was easy to put on, and I needed it fast. Her foot measures about 2.5″ wide so I ordered the medium but I couldn’t seem to wrap it right enough to stop it from working it’s way down her foot while she walked or rotating so it was completely upside down.I contacted the company to see if they had any advice in case it was user error, and the customer service was above and beyond what I expected. Terri helped me figure out my dog needed a smaller size and sent me a care package with their new half size sm/med boot and additional elastic straps. The half size was a much better fit for my dog but the elastic strap is what really made the difference in fit.Once we got the right size, my dog didn’t have issues with slipping or stumbling while wearing it. She’s never worn boots before so I expected more of a fuss, but she didn’t even seem to notice when she was wearing it. There were even times I’d completely space taking it off when we got back inside and she would just curl up and go to sleep like normal. My biggest issue with the boot is that it’s not the most durable. We’ve only been using it for about a week now and the faux leather on the bottom is pretty torn up. I put the boot on my dog before I take her out, we walk through the grassy yard until she does her business, and then we go right back inside when she’s done. Nothing vigorous, no prolonged contact with hard surfaces, but it’s still falling apart.Another more minor bummer is that this is definitely not something you can use if the ground is wet as the fabric will just soak the water right up.If you only need something for use inside, or for just a few days of use, I think this would be a good product, though I highly recommend reaching out to the company directly if you are having sizing issues or unsure what size to get. If you need something for outdoor use that’s going to be more durable, or something to keep the foot dry, this unfortunately might not be the best option until they fix the current issues. But I definitely recommend the company for their customer service alone.

Comfortable Bootie
I am using these as “booties” for my golden doodle so he can navigate hardwood floors. He likes to zoom around after his dinner and can easily have his feet fly out from under him when cutting corners around our couch and heading in for a “touchdown” after he tosses his favorite Gumby toy into the air. We have tried 5 different kinds of booties for him, in all price ranges. Unfortunately, he was not happy with them and would remove them when we weren’t looking. He’s quite clever. His feet are big, so I wondered it the pressure of the other booties, even those for giant dogs, bothered him. I thought I would try these for a last resort. He loves them! They stay on, are super soft, he can run in them and his tootsies are happy! He now stands quietly and extends his paws to put them on, he likes them so much. He had hurt his claw on one toe in the meantime and these booties were super good to keep it safe. It didn’t slow him down any. These take a little learning and trial and error to use. Also, you need to get the correct size for your pet. His are slightly oversized, which is his personal preference, as he has little webs on his feet and fluffs on his toes and doesn’t seem to like them mashed but doesn’t mind it tighter on his leg. They are a soft felt material on the side and top with a Velcro fastener that wraps around your pet’s ankle. The bottom is a soft rubber that is flexible, not stiff.

The vet technician loved this boot. She wanted to know where I got it & said it’s a great option for dogs after foot surgery until healed. It kept the bandage clean and I just put plastic bag over it covered with a sock to go outside to keep boot and bandage dry. I removed the plastic bag and sock as soon as she came back in. The boot wicks moisture away from foot and keeps it all dry and healing nicely. It might be great to get in touch with a vet so they would have the boot in stock for foot surgery options.

Well made boot to cover my dog’s bandaged foot.

I knew from reading the other reviews that I was taking a chance on the fit. I measured my border collies foot and purchased accordingly but they didn’t fit him very well, too wide at the top and the bottom of the foot didn’t sit right either. He had a toe injury and I wanted to cover it, to take him on short walks. I purchased two so that I could use one while the other was drying. One of them washed well, the other the stitching came apart. Disappointing as it looked like a much better solution than the other dog boots advertised.

There was no medical gauze to insert as advertised. Fell apart after 2 uses.

Clearly well made dog booties, but we bought X-Small for our cat with CH to better grip the laminate floors in our home, and they are simply just poorly fitted for cats. Our cat slipped out of them in seconds, so too bad. Returned to amazon with no hassle.P.S. Package is only for two booties.
