Exactly as described so soft
I bought this because I live in Michigan, and it gets pretty cold here. I wanted this to be able to save on my gas bills and for comfort. Itâs perfect! It is so soft! Iâm in my lazy girl chair, cocooned in this soft as rabbit fur throw. My husband got jealous, so I ordered one for him today.

Favorite throw, but I might be too easy to please?
I have never owned an electric blanket that was so soft on the outside. From that perspective, it’s like having the softness of your favorite stuffed animal surround you in warmth. I have only used it on the first setting, set to shut off in about an hour. As the cold season creeps in, I’ve kept the temperature in the house at about 50 degrees F. The first heat setting is almost uncomfortably warm — I can’t even imagine what 6 is like. I find that the heat remains trapped hours after the blanket has shut off. It’s nice that the cord can be removed — though it’s probably necessary in order to wash the blanket in the washing machine. I would be careful about washing it, though. If I end up washing it, I’ll definitely use a garment bag.I find the throw size to be perfect for having something that I can throw over my body in a reclined position — as it isn’t long enough to touch the floor. That added length would also add extra weight, which would make positioning the blanket more effort than is needed for its throw size.The very large fabric care tag is sewn onto the outside of the blanket. There really isn’t a good place for a tag this size — I also wouldn’t want that large uncomfortable tag touching my skin. It is large, partly to accommodate both an english and french translation of warnings and instructions for washing and drying. I think maybe my solution would have been to attach it to the cord instead of the blanket.Price-wise, I think $40 would be about right. ( After taking off $10 for sewing the tag into the top of the blanket. )

Its very soft!This is a great quality product. It’s stitched well and fabric feels high quality. We have a movie theater in our house with movie theater style chairs. It’s in the basement and it’s winter. So it’s always cold there for the women of the family. This will solve that issue! It gets very warm, highest setting is too hot. There is also a timer – you can set it to automatically turn off.It can be used as advertised as a heated blanket or you can also use this as a heated chair as it’s very soft.A couple of downsides: The cord length is decent but it’s not enough if your going to sleep with it. Also the blanket itself is small won’t cover entire body. When you toss and turn it will pull out of the socket. It’s about 10 feet length. So keep this as a throw or for using when watching movies/reading. I would not recommend sleeping with it.Lastly the major downside is not just with this product but with all similar products – it’s hard to wash. The wash instructions are very vague at best. I’m paraphrasing here but it says something like, “Soak/prewash 15 mins, wash 2 minutes, don’t throw in the Wringer!” I don’t think one can wash for only 2 minutes. Then it says to dry for 2 minutes, tumble dry 15 minutes, stretch and air dry. I guess it’s safe to assume they recommend handwashing the product only.So over all, Comes in handy during winter and will keep you toasty. It’s very energy efficient only uses 100 watts or so. If you are willing to look past these shortcomings then it’s defiantly a good product to have on hand!

Super-soft, Super-warm!
This is a lovely heated throw that looks great and feels even better to snuggle up with! It’s definitely on the throw side and less on the heated blanket side, so keep that in mind if you plan on keeping this in the bedroom. We have it draped on our couch in our poorly-insulated den, and the whole family has fought over it! I love that is doesn’t look like a heated blanket per se…more like a nice accent throw that was purchased for aesthetics. Cozy and warm
This blanket is a lifesaver for me as my office is always freezing. I have it draped over my desk chair and just sit on top of the throw most of the time, but it warms up well enough to keep me comfortable. The different heat levels are great for adjusting the temperature and the auto shutoff is an excellent safety feature. One side is a cozy fleece and the opposite is a soft faux fur, I find both to be very comfortable.
