I was surprised at the ‘weight’ of the scoop. Very light weight and cheap feeling. Mine was all scratched up and had some of the plating rubbed off.It does serve the purpose I need perfectly however. I drink a 3L iced water jug and it has a big mouth. This scoop fits perfectly into the thermos opening. Now I don’t have to freeze my hands with the ice cubes. This little scoop takes the cold for me and I just touch the handle.I am going to leave the scoop in my freezer with the ice (as an experiment). If I feel that the little handle is too cold to touch or uncomfortable to touch – I will simply keep it in a drawer nearby my fridge / freezer.

One use and that’s it. Put it in dishwasher as it says dishwasher safe and all the silver came off. It is completely oxidized and it will be thrown in the garbage. It is essentially now covered in some sort of black film. What a total waste of money.THIS DOES NOT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR!
