Sturdy well made
Sturdy and well made vest. Lots of adjustment available I love the all metal hardware and large rings to clip into. This is our 2nd vest. First one was orange which looks great but harder to keep clean. Now we have 2 sets. Very easy to take on and off when adjusted. Handles are a plus but wishlist could be held down flat with maby a velcro tab… still I will keep buying these all metal products

This was about because my other harness had a plastic clip, which I have a big 88 pound breed and the clips kept breaking on the other others.This one is much sturdier and has metal clips for extra safety when dealing with strong dogs. Great adjustments color is true and great value.

High quality harness that is easy to put on. Don’t have to wrestle your dog to put this vest on. We take our dog with us everywhere and when we go off roading at night he’s east to spot with this vest on. All buckles are metal so no worries about them breaking

Itâs easy to put on and has plenty of room to adjust the size. Sometimes the front strap ends come untucked and flop around, or the front piece can get folded over where it sits under the dogâs chest. Minor issues. Itâs a quality item at a good price

I’ve researched and tried way too many sturdy dog vests and all of them had problems. Except this one. I hike a lot of trails with my dogs. I wanted a strong vest with metal clips and slides, webbing straps that don’t slip/come loose on their own while walking a dog who pulls, leash clips front and back, a handle on the back for holding/lifting over obstacles, and reflective stitching. THIS ONE is the only one that not only met but EXCEEDED my requirements and performs great!!! The webbing is much thicker than the other vests I’ve tried. Highly adjustable both front and back. We hiked almost 6 miles today and he pulled a lot but the vest stayed put. Don’t waste your time with other “tactical” vests that have some metal and some plastic clips/slides. They slip and then the vest is flopping all around the dog’s back. Useless.My dog is 2 years old, 50-55 lbs., lab/shepherd mix (we think). Very strong. He loves his vest: It means we’re going on a good adventure! I bought size M, blaze orange color which I wanted for being in the woods — last thing I need is tan, camouflage, or black. Fits well but thought I might need to go for the Small size as he’s on the lower end of fitting. I figured out how to make the front straps tighter, and I think M will work now.

Fastener problem
I have had the GN8 harness for about a year and now 2 of the fasteners have failed. They no longer snap closed. Before this, I considered it a very good harness.
