Very practical for reactive dogs!
I have 2 dogs and they are reactive – always barking whenever they see other dogs, and the black dog has aggression issues, but we live in an apartment complex so we donât have a yard, meaning we have to take them on walks a couple times a day in a complex that has many dogs. That being said, these harnesses are very sturdy and durable and they fit them great. The pitbull in the video with the brown harness is a medium size, and the black lab boxer mix in the video with the black harness is a size large. I will say that the dogs donât love putting these on because itâs definitely more restrictive than other harnesses, so we bribe them with treats to get them on, but itâs worth it because we know they wonât slip out of them on our walks (which has been quite an issue in the past). If youâre worried about your reactive dog slipping out of their current harness and potentially harming another dog or person, please I canât recommend enough buying this for them. Itâs a bit pricey but so worth it when considering their safety. The black harness in the video, weâve had for about a year and it holds up really well, and the brown harness I just bought so this is the pitbulls second time wearing it and it looks great! I wonât say it stops them from pulling, but it makes it a lot easier to control them and the best part is the strap loop on top because if they start pulling or barking at another dog, whatever the problem may be, you can just grab that strap and itâs sturdy enough to lift them right off the ground. The black dog is a 60lb dog and I (a 5â1 young woman with a herniated disk in my neck that causes shoulder problems) am able to lift him up off the ground without worrying that the harness is going to break or give out. Lifting them off the ground kind of makes them feel uncomfortable and powerless, and so theyâll stop barking at the trigger and just accept that they canât do anything. It may sound a little sad but Iâve almost lost that black dog before because his previous harness gave out while he was triggered by another dog, and he ran off and almost attacked the other dog. If that had happened, we wouldâve had to put him down. This is why itâs so important to invest in a strong harness like this.

Omgâ¦this is a wonderful find!
We now have a âpackâ of rescues. They take time, consistency, patience, a lot of love, and the right equipment toâ¦civilize. Weâve tried so many harnesses, vests, collars, and leashes at various price points with disappointing results. Our most recent addition is a 2 y.o Pittie mix with a sweet disposition, lots of play energy, super smart, strong, and eager to please, but with triggers galore from previous abuse and surviving on his own.We needed a sturdy vest with leash clips and quick release options in all the right places, which would adjust with his growth (and much-needed weight gain), wouldnât chafe (he arrived with terrible scars from a cheap nylon harness), a handle on top just in case, a place to store treats and poop bags, and reflective safety markings. This vest does all that and more: Once we adjusted to proper fit (2-3 finger rule- not too loose or tight, with room to move and rest) itâs worked as intended, and with a bonus: it also works like a âthunder shirtâ with a calming effect for this guy!Itâs adjustable in all ways for a perfect fit with padding between skin and straps, with no chafing anywhere. The clips and slide adjustments are sturdy and configured to stay put, with room to modify in all directions as he grows. The straps are sturdy and generous in length; can thread back into the adjustment slides for expansion later, or if full grown, can be cut shorter and the cut edges melted to prevent fraying. The coverage of his torso and abdomen was crucial when we were surprised by a larger aggressive unleashed canine in an unpleasant encounter that could have resulted in significant injury and an expensive vet bill if heâd been in a regular harness or short vest, and that top handle has been invaluable to control him during ptsd episodes which take time to pass.Ohâ¦and it also helps tremendously with pulling on walks, and the front.chest and 2 top leash connectors are also perfect for leash, walk, and behavioral training.I donât say this often, but I can highly recommend this product over others more (and fur sure less) expensive.Sizing is important. Measure well. There are so many ways to adjust these. Donât go too big; be sure itâs not too long under the belly so it wonât be in the way when they pee. Our guy is a longer leaner pittie mix at 65 lbs. The large was too long, and the medium has been great.Iâm not sure this would be a good choice/a bit overdone for a very small breed.

Finding comfort in the small things
My husky is a rescue. So my main goal was to bring comfort to her. This vest is worth every cent. The vest have strong straps that adjust. So if you dog gains or lose weight it will be okay. The vest is not too heavy but it have a light protective case. Doesn’t choke her neck. When she jumps the vest stays in place. It’s washable. Only issue I have is picking orange ð because it gets dirty fast with my type of dog. I pick orange because I wanted her to be visible because I live in the city. Fits her well. I forgot what size I got her. Quality is high standards. No complaints. The clips are super strong like hiking gear. The top handle perfect they thought of every thing. The leach strap and patch is sold Separate .

Great Training Harness
This Icefang harness is well-made, sturdy and great for training young dogs. My juvenile dogs are programmed to pull because their breed was bred for pulling sleds and carts. This harness is great for training them to not pull so much without any severity from a half-halt because the pressure is well-distributed across the harness across the shoulders and midriff. Also, I like the bright orange for walking along the road so people driving can easily see my dogs and hopefully slow down when in areas with no shoulder like on dirt roads. I have two of these in the full harness for training and two in half harness that they wear all day for safe handling of my spirited and highly energetic young dogs.

Heavy duty with good reflective thread that shows up at night.
I think this will last us for life. Only complaint I have is it squeaks. Hopefully with time this will stop lol. Takes multiday trial and error to tune in the fit and adjustment.
