This thing is versatile!
I recently picked up this inflatable mattress for my SUV, and Iâm so glad I did! Iâm planning to use it for camping out during Black Friday, and after testing it, I can already tell itâs going to be perfect for those trips. The mattress has six separate air chambers, which is great because I can fully inflate it for multi-person use or partially inflate it for when itâs just me. It fits so well in the back of my SUV and really adapts to the space I have.The materials feel high-qualityâit’s made of thick flocking and durable PVC, and the mattress is surprisingly comfortable. The head block is a nice touch too; it helps keep you from bumping into the carâs backrest. I also really appreciate how sturdy it feelsâit holds up to 600 pounds, so itâs perfect for a family or even if we want to bring along our dog.Inflating and deflating it is super easy with the electric pump that plugs right into the car, and itâs done in no time. Itâs also leakproof and waterproof, which is a must for camping, and the best part is that itâs easy to clean. The mattress comes with everything you need, including pillows, an air pump, and a handy carry bag.Itâs not just for the car either! Adaptable and comfortable
We set this up in our 2006 Toyota Highlander and inflated it to try it out, but we haven’t actually slept on it yet. However, we were impressed by the thoughtful design. The head sections and side bolsters inflate independently from the main mattress, so you can opt to leave them deflated if your vehicle doesn’t have room for those sections. Our car is pretty narrow between the wheel wells, so we probably won’t use the side bolsters. Otherwise, the mattress fits almost perfectly in the back of our car. We like that the mattress is divided down the center, so we can inflate each side separately according to our individual preferences. This will be a lot more comfortable than a traditional air mattress, which tends to launch the lighter partner whenever the heavier partner shifts in their sleep. One thing we found confusing about the mattress is the design of some of the inflation ports. They completely unscrew from the mattress, so they could theoretically get lost. When they are unscrewed, there is nothing to keep air in the mattress. However, removing these plugs allows the mattress to deflate very rapidly, which is a plus. I’m concerned that over time, the threads might loosen and allow air to leak out while we are sleeping. If that happens, I will update my review. Two very small separate inflatable pillows, a storage/carrying bag, and a pump were also included. The pump does not have a battery or battery compartment of any kind, as far as we could tell. It needs to be plugged into a vehicle’s 12 volt cigarette/charging port in order to operate. I actually think that’s smart, as the mattress it’s made for is intended to be used inside a car with a power source. It also negates the drawbacks of rechargeable batteries, which tend to degrade over time, and the frustration of having to buy and search for removable batteries when the old ones go dead. Not having batteries also makes the pump significantly lighter and more compact in comparison to other pumps we’ve used that do have batteries. Overall, we are very pleased with this mattress and can’t wait to try it out on our next trip.

Very adjustable, comes with a pump
Very adjustable design for the back of an SUV. Separate air chambers so you can inflate only one side or the other (like if you could only put down 1/2 of the seat for some reason), Adjustable length if your SUV is shorter, and you can choose whether or not to inflate the wings, where the wheel wells might be. I used my own inflator (so I could do it in the house for testing), but it works similarly to the included one, which plugs into a cigarette lighter style power outlet. Inflated in just a couple of minutes, with one-way-valves at each of the 6 zones. Also includes two inflatable pillows, if you’re desperate. Folds up and fits in the included bag nicely. This would be great for a quick rest on a roadtrip or if you work long shifts in remote locations and sometimes have to catch some rest in a remote location. Not a luxury mattress, but compresses small enough to fit even in a very full rig, and handy when you need it.Check out the video unboxing and hands-on review.
