EDITED: Nice toy for my active cat, though a bit ovestimulating
UPDATE:Been using it for a week, and a few more notes to add.- First of all, I realized that you can keep the toy in the slow moving mode indefinitely, and and when the cat stops playing with it, it goes automatically into sleep mode. Just like the interactive mode it still blinks every 30 seconds, but at least I don’t have to worry about it rolling over the whole day.- The cat is still slightly overstimulated if the toy moves and makes noise for a long time, so we only switch it on when we see that he is very active and wants to play. Otherwise he can kick it by accident when passing by. Then when it starts, he is not super happy if he’s not in the mood to play.- The battery seems to last a long time, I only have to charge it every few days or so of active use.- The metal rod that has the pom pom on it bent out of shape pretty quickly in the spot where it connects to the rolling ball. And because of that sometimes it gets stuck on the floor when it can’t lift its pom pom head. But it’s okay, cause I have a replacement that I’ll probably have to switch out soon.————————I have a cat who loves to play. He’s not a kitten anymore, but sometimes he does get zoomies. Got this toy hoping it will be interesting for him, and it was right out of the box. See the video of him playing with that just a few minutes after we opened it.I’m taking a star off for a couple of things. First of all, it has three settings, which is great. One is super fast, one is kind of slower which we love the most, and one is interactive/sleep mode when he has to wake it up for it to start working, and it’s always in ON mode. I wish that the interactive mode was in a slower mode or gave us option. It’s super fast, and the cat does get tired of it because of that quickly. It also makes mouse-like peeping sounds, which is okay but combined with super fast movement and the noise from the mechanism irself, it is a bit much for the cat after a while.I also didn’t like that if you leave the toy in the interactive mode, it keeps flashing the red light every 30 seconds, I guess it’s letting you know that it’s on. But I wish it didn’t do that because it does distract if it is in your line of view, and the cat keeps looking at it if he’s somewhere nearby but doesn’t want to play. I also think it’s probably draining the battery if you’re leaving it on overnight. I just wish that we had that extra option to not have the constant blinking.

Keeps my kitten entertained
I work from home and have a 12 week old kitten that always wants to play and she loves thing! Enough that it keep her entertained for a while while I’m finishing my work.

Lays sideways , no matter if I bend the wire
The cats do off and on play with it, and it does roll, but stays in its side for some reason. Must be motor weight

SO FUN
Both my kitties LOVE this. What a great interactive toy. I wish I had bought two. Charged up quick and makes a cute like bird sound and rolls great.

Not for my cat
This toy is okay, but my cat quickly lost interest in it. It just spins and occasionally makes a chirp sound. It just wasn’t enough to keep my cat’s attention.

works as expected but I think my cat is broken
The toy does exactly what it says it will. I would have bet my life that my cat or any cat would enjoy this. My cat just kind of sits and watches it but won’t interact with it. To be honest, my cat has never been super playful so I was hoping this would bring that out in her a bit more. If your cat is naturally playful I think they would enjoy this. The wire that sticks out with the little dangly pieces come coiled up so you have to unravel it (super easy) and the box came with 2 which I appreciate. This would make a great stocking stuffer for a cat/cat lover.
