Best Cat Toy
My cat is easily bored by toys that she canât hunt or donât fight back. I bought this toy hoping to keep her entertained when we arenât home. She loves it! The toy is easy to use and quick to charge. There are 2 settings: fast and slow. The toy chirps like a bird, vibrates, and moves on its own, making this the perfect toy to hunt. At night, my cat will hear the quiet chirps and sound of it moving and will go find it. In some reviews people have said the light is too bright which I have not found to be a problem. The green is brighter, but you can change the mode to purple (slower) which is perfect. I turn the toy on before we leave the house and before bed and it stays charged for a long period of time. It does go into sleep mode for an hour if it feels that itâs not being played with and then it reactivate itself to let her know something is still there. Definitely recommend to any cats who are easily bored!

There are 13 cats that I live with, so I feel confident representing a diverse variety of play preferences and personalities. Out of 13 cats, about five to six of them played with this toy. Of those six, three [a three year old male, and two under one year old kittens] absolutely love this toy even months out. The other two have more fun watching it, in turbo mode, fling itself around on the floor. The sixth is skittish, but alternates between constant vigilance of the toy to reckless abandon in attacking.A charge lasts about three days, depending on how often it has been played with and what mode it’s been in. Interactive mode and the lighter seem to last longer; turbo mode tends to deplete it quickly. Charging is easy, and leaving it overnight is all it takes so it’s ready in the morning.It’s sturdy and durable, works well on hardwood, carpet, and linoleum. However, be aware that it needs cleaned a lot more frequently with carpet and just overall as the green ball portion collects hair like no other.The tail frays and comes apart very easily, which is a plus as it’s more enticing that way to play with. It’s also a con because that means it wears through almost completely in under a month, and it only comes with one replacement tail. Depending on how much your cats attack it, it could become very annoying and cost prohibitive to have to keep replacing the tail.I will update if/when any issues are encountered.Update, 4/26/24 – The battery barely holds a charge longer than a day with even minimal interaction.

Cats don’t care, but great for scaring the family in the middle of the night
Cats were vaguely interested initially, but none actually played with it. They do go to look at it when it starts up randomly. It is rather entertaining when it starts up and starts thumping around in the middle of the night and sounds like somebody’s breaking in, so that’s good for human entertainment at least

I have now purchased 3 rolling cat toys from this company. It is important to emphasize that some cats go bananas for certain toys while orhers simply aren’t interested. That is no fault of the toy itself just a fact of felines’ nature. Will it get stuck between objects in your home sometimes? Of course. Any automated toy that is of appropriate size will. With these caveats in mind, here are the features I find standout against other toys of similar build.I am very impressed by the following:A) My cats actually show interest in them: their movement is enticing and triggers their natural hunting insticts.B) Among toys of similar build, this one is programmed to get unstuck by vibrating, turning, amd reversing direction. Not bullet proof, of course… (Again, no cat toy is fully immune to getting stuck sometimes.) Good job, guys.C) Battery life is impressive. It can go days without charging.D) Tough as nails. The first one I purchased over 2 years ago. No signs of decline.E) Easy to maintain and/or ‘fix’ if hair gets caught up in them, which is rare if you keep your floors relatively clean.Overall, and especially for the price, this toy is well worth the money. Great value when measured against the more expensive versions of rolling cat toys I have ordered, which my cats either ignored or actively avoided.5 stars all the way!

Love it! Brilliant design! Great fun for cats, but..
My cat’s claw got tangled in the end that’s unraveled fringe. It scared him because the toy kept spinning. I managed to release him but it would have been easier if the toy had an off selection in the button cycle. It’s a 3 cycle button for different action play/colors but there is no turning it off. It will time out but comes back on by itself, which runs down the charge in 1-2 days. My cats, 5 and 10 yrs old, find this toy really fun to play with or just to watch – I think it’s brilliant!! Just cut the extra fringe to be sure it doesn’t scare your cat by getting caught in a claw. I hope the makers will add an off to the cycle. Really genius cat toy!!Update: Off selection is a long hold – my misunderstanding! My 16 year old cat finds it fun to watch, too. She doesn’t play much anymore, but at least this interests her. I purchased a second one!UPDATE 2: If your cat has long fur, do not leave them unattended. The long fringe will get tangled in the fur, and the toy will not auto shut off. I tie a knot at the end and cut all extra fringe off after my long haired cat was tangled several times.

My cat loved it – but it stopped working
My kitten loved chasing around this toy and was perplexed by the noises. I charged it a few times and after the second charge it hasnât worked the same since. It doesnât roll around the house anymore, it just shakes sadly and chirps. My kitten doesnât have anything to chase anymore 🙁

Great toy until it wasnât
I was able to charge it when I got it. Donât get a charging cable with my package though and didnât realize it was supposed to come with one but found spare around my house that workedMy cats really loved it. Kept them entertained for hours. When I went to charge it again, it wouldnât charge. I wish there was a way to contact the seller to get this correctedUPDATE. Seller contacted me and is exchanging this.

Cat hasnât got board of this as quickly as his other ones. Really enjoys the rope tail. The ball is easy to pop apart to remove any hair (my long hair) that may have got caught in the spinning mechanism. Easy to charge with indicator light to tell you when itâs charging and which of the two motion settings youâve selected to set it on. It is not as loud or noisy as other automatic balls have been on our houseâs wooden floors. Purchased a few months ago and is still working well. I would recommend this toy.
