A little fussy but the cats like it
Nothing feels QUITE secure on it and cats have even been able to pull free the bouncing ball on the top. I am using it with a pack of larger cats though of all sorts of strengths, sizes, and energy levels and they’re clearly interested in the treats! Just needs a full reset every time they drain it and pull it apart and some gentle handling to keep it together as I set it down. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong in closing everything up or just have bad luck. It is still getting well used and loved though so a win there.

Fun and multifunctional!
As most if not all cat owners would say, cats are mysterious creatures and it’s almost next to impossible to predict which toys they will love playing with and which toys they will ignore for us humans to trip over! Also, in multiple cat households, it’s often the case that one kitty might like playing with a certain toy while his/her housemates displayed no interest in it with the exception of the box that it came in!For those reasons, I prefer to order multifunctional toys which gives me a higher probability that at least one of my kitties will find a fun way with it! Such was the case with this cute toy. Both of my kitties enjoys spinning the top part of the toy with the ribbons and batting around the teaser wand. However, neither of my kitties has figured out how to activate the treat dispenser and get treats from it. They see the treats fall down into the belly of the toy, but they can’t seem to get them out of there.I wouldn’t say that this is a toy that is played with very often or for very long. But it’s a nice one to rotate in and out of their toy line-up.I appreciated that the seller included a helpful video that shows how to easily assemble this toy.

This seems to be very well built, and easy to assemble if you read the directions. There are options for different pieces and it is so cute!My cat doesn’t like any toys, but I think the “treats” may finally attract her to this one – she just pulled one out of the base! Good price, and we’ll definitely keep it.

My cat isn’t interested in this.
My cat isn’t interested in this toy. The little balls that go on the top don’t attract his attention at all. For some reason, I thought this twisted around on its own, but it doesn’t. The balls on the inside should easily go round and round, but they don’t stay on the tracks. That makes it impossible for them to sail around the tracks easily. I’m not impressed with this, although other cats might enjoy it.

Simple but multifunctional
It’s a pretty basic toy, but quite versatile in all its simplicity. My kitten loves it in toy mode, and reaches in to swat at the balls, and up at the end of the wand part. She doesn’t seem to understand treat-dispensing mode yet – she gets them to dispense by spinning the top but won’t reach in for them – but I don’t think she’s far off. Our senior cat mostly just watches the kitten play with it, but he’s shown some interest in it as well when she’s not around, which is always good to see. I think it’s far more effective as a treat/food puzzle toy, since it doesn’t seem as inviting without the food incentive to play with it, the little bits of rope and such just aren’t as enticing as a food reward. In toy mode, the kitten does approach it at times on her own, but she has plenty of other toys she uses more. Overall I’m glad I have this and will definitely swap it out into different modes, but I think this will primarily be used for food and treats.
