Customers find the air mattress comfortable and easy to use. They appreciate its height and that two people can fit comfortably on it. However, some customers report issues with air retention, mentioning it tends to lose air after about two days. There are also complaints about leakage. Opinions vary on deflating rate, durability, and value for money.

Skeptical at first, but after first use (so far) itâs a solid product
I initially bought this to stay at my MILâs senior community (to help her get settled), so I didnât want to spend a lot of money on it and I planned to leave it for other relatives that might want to visit. I expected it to be cheap-ish quality and probably not last through my two week stay.First off, set up was a breeze. I laid it out and started inflation and it took about 4-5 minutes to fully inflate. The motor made noise, but itâs to be expected from something like thisâI can say that it wasnât as noisy as our Costco-bought mattress.Second, itâs bigâbut thatâs not a bad thing as much as I thought anyway after I saw it fully inflated. Turns out, for me, itâs a good thing. Our Costco mattress sits low to the floor and as it deflates a bit during the night, itâs tough to get up. This one (the 22â model and the largest one at this writing) is wonderful as I can sit on the edge of it and stand up easily. Your experience may be different, but for older folks it makes it really easy to get out of bed in the morning. How does it sleep? Well, since I was visiting by myself and my significant other wasnât with me, I can only speak for a single sleeper. It was really comfortable! It did take a bit of tweaking though as I thought I would like it more firm as I like to side sleep. The first couple of nights were a bit rough as I tossed and turned a bit in my sleepâI found that I couldnât get comfortable on my side. For the reviews that say that it deflates after sleeping on it, I can say that it did seem to lose some air after the first two nights. The manufacturer does state that it does âstretchâ and not deflate. As I wanted to test that statement, I didnât change the firmness of it by re-inflating it to where I had it. The third and fourth nights were better sleep and I didnât feel like the mattress deflated at all, so I found the stretch statement to be validâit wasnât losing air. After that night, I re-inflated it to where I thought Iâd like it. The next night was the same tossing and turning that I had those first two nights, so I concluded that I needed to make it less firm and I actually DEflated it a bit and for the rest of the stay it was perfect! I didnât have to touch it and I even unplugged it.When I was getting ready to leave, I started the deflation process by turning the dial in the opposite direction. It took longer to deflate, so I walked away for a bitâIâd guess about 7-8 minutes. When I came back the mattress was flat as a pancake and ready to fold. This is the only hassle of the process as folding it to get it into the storage bag and back into the box (for storage). I do like the tote that they provide as the handles make it easy to lug about. So, the first use was a success. If repeated uses reveal issues, Iâll report back. I will say that I plan to buy another one to replace our beloved Costco air mattressâsheâs showing her age and the height of this one as well as the cost make it a no-brainer to get it as a second. Weâll use this one until it dies (if it even does) and then fall back on our old one if needed. I gave an overall 5 stars for the product with 4 stars for sleep quality and comfort only because your idea of these two might be a bit of a learning experience until you find your inflation sweet spotâso itâs not just an âinflate fully and useâ type of scenario.

Good value for money
For the price, it does the job really well. Comfy enough (itâs an air mattress; none are really comfy unless you spend huge amounts) and easy to blow up and deflate.Tends to lose air over time, but what mattress doesnât.

Best air mattress
Such a great air mattress. Set up is super easy. Literally plug it in and turn the knob. The self inflation is so nice. Gone are the days of manual pumping!! I didnât set a timer but the mattress was fully inflated within 5 minutes. We did not have any issues with smell or loss of air. Once it was set up no air was lost during the night. A 51 year old man weighing 250 slept on it for a week with no complaints or issues. The extra height makes it easier to get in and out of the bed. It is very comfortable to lay on. Putting it away was even easier. Literally plug in and turn the knob to deflate and it sucks the air out in about 5 minutes. I folded it over 3 times and then put it in the bag that comes with it. I was able to do set up and take down all by myself in about 10 minutes. Having this air mattress is going to be a life saver. Not only is it great for guests but we are going to use it when we travel. I cannot say enough good things about this air mattress.

Comfortable, BUT….
Great mattress, nice and firm, held air great! The only issue I had is the air pump design. The cord is inside a small compartment, open the door, plug it in, turn the dial and it inflates. Now here’s the but…BUT you can’t close the door to leave the unit plugged in. They need to design it where there’s an opening for the cord to come out so you can close the door. That is the ONLY reason why I didn’t give this a 5 star rating…I couldn’t give it a 4.75, so it had to be a 4. With that said, I would buy it again if need be.

It’s very tall, firm and comfortable
This is our second purchase of this same mattress as our first one was stored outside where bugs ate it. MY bad :(The comfort level is outstanding, with the plush surface providing a great night’s sleep. Setup was a breeze, thanks to the built-in electric pump that inflates the bed in just a few minutes. Itâs surprisingly durable and holds air well, even after multiple uses. We top off the air every few nights and that takes about 10 seconds. The bed’s height is perfect – it’s tall, making it feel more like a traditional mattress, and itâs sturdy enough to support two adults without any issues.Deflation and storage are equally convenient, as the bed folds up compactly and fits easily into the provided carry bag.Overall, the INTEX Dura-Beam Deluxe Matress is an excellent investment for anyone in need of a temporary or guest bed. Itâs comfortable, easy to use, and offers great value for the price. Highly recommended!

Intex model AP619D 110v-120v is wrong for GB. Couldnât use it as it can with wrong plug and wrong voltage. Very disappointed as it was more expensive that ones we have bought before. Am sending it back

This is by far the best raised inflatable bed out there. We had this model for years a while back and loved it but decided to âupgradeâ to a newer one. We must have tried a dozen âhigher qualityâ mattresses but they were all terrible in their own special ways. This mattress is supper sturdy yet comfortable with a nice flat top (not those divot riddles ones like most). Pumps up quickly & holds air really well & the dimensions are actually accurate *itâs actually 60inch wide *not 54-56 like some other âqueensâ we bought and itâs actually 22in hight so easy to sit on. The top is also pretty flat so you get the full top as a sleeping service (some other have this large 3inch raised wall around the top reducing the sleeping service even more). Most importantly itâs much cheaper than some others out there. Would highly recommend.
