    High Quality Dog Ball
We just received this ball today, and immediately took it out to the yard to see how our puppers would like it. All the way headed out, she was going crazy trying to take the ball from us – she LOVES her toys. Our dog and past balls: We have an 80 lb plab (pit lab mix), and she loves all toys, but has a bad habit of puncturing normal balls. The only other type we’ve had work for her are the solid kong balls, but they’re far too hard for indoor play or bouncing in a crowded area (our cars are parked right by the back yard). What we wanted: We were looking for something like a small kids kickball, that we could kick around and bounce around but that she could still pick up with her mouth.Product Specifics:Size: This 6 inch is a little larger than what we were looking for. We spent about 30 minutes laughing hysterically as she pushed the ball around with her mouth open, trying to figure out how to pick it up. She eventually did, but it’s not easy.Durability: The ball is made of a hard material, about 1/4 inch thick. There is a hole in the ball, which shows a hollow interior. It seems like it will hold up well as long as we don’t leave her alone with it for long periods, as with unattended access she would quickly use the hole to tear it open.Bounce: The ball doesn’t have much bounce, a purposeful bounce will bring it to about waist height. However, it bounces well off objects, and doesn’t fly off crazily like the solid kong balls.Smell: The entire box had a blueberry smell, which was pleasant. It immediately got her attention. We’ll see how well it lasts, but it seems to be baked in with the plastic, as opposed to being added after the fact, which is a good sign.Color: The ball is a bright light blue, which is good for dogs. Due to the spectrum of colors dogs see, red balls tend to blend in with the grass, as reds and yellows are seen in the same range as green. This being a blue, it stands out easily for her, which is what we wanted. Conclusion: This ball is amazing, even if it is bigger than we wanted originally. We’re going to be buying one of the smaller ones, but I’m sure this will stay a favorite.

Strong and durable, great for aggressive chewers
My dogs loves it. Doesn’t deflates no matter how much my dog chews on it, always inflates back.

    Great Dane loves it!
My boy was so excited to see this ball. He did enjoy the Jolly Egg, but I found that to just be too hard on his mouth. The material of the Jolly Ball is perfect. It’s not too soft and not too hard. My Great Dane has played with this a lot in the last two days. He has put a few bigger hole punctures in the ball now, so I always make sure to keep him moving around with the ball and to not be unsupervised at all with it, for worry he may rip the ball up completely. I would definitely buy another if he does destroy it. Because he truly loves it. A good 20 minutes of play, and he is tired out. A great toy for supervised play.

Awesome product – just be prepared for the pervasive sugary plastic “blueberry” smell
This is a really amazing toy for big dogs. My 2-year old rescue German shepherd was first introduced to the big Jolly Balls at a private dog play park here in Seattle and was instantly obsessed. They are some sort of hard material that is still malleable enough for a big dog to squeeze (working those big jaw muscles and relieving massive amounts of stress) but they don’t fully deflate. They are strong enough that I can barely make a dent in one trying to squeeze it, but my GSD works it pretty good. The only reason I took one star off is the smell – I thought “blueberry” was someone being cute about the color but it’s the SMELL so just be prepared especially if you’re one of those “chemically sensitive” people that can’t tolerate scents. This thing smells like an overly-sweet, overly-sugared artificial blueberry – that’s the closest I can describe it. Like some horrible blue kids’ candy tagged to some Disney movie or something – you know what I mean. And it’s strong, it doesn’t seem to be fading, it’s throughout the whole house. I’m willing to tolerate it because it does such good for my pup and he loves it so much – I mean, really loves it – but it’s kind of overpowering. Still, if you can overcome that one thing, a super-strong recommendation here! I have a feeling I’ll be buying more (wonder what green smells like?)

    As advertised!!
Holds up against my destroyer of toys! He can grab and bite it and it doesn’t pop or deflate! Finally a ball that lasts!! Highly recommend!!

    Tough construction
Item will puncture and deflate with Dogs teeth piercing, however its very durable otherwise and she has had hours of fun. Performs as described.

    Heavy
Very durable and dense but not as bouncy as I hoped. My 20 lb welsh corgi loves to chase kick-balls, but pops them in minutes. I thought this would be a more durable alternative but it’s too heavy and hard for her to push and chase around.Good product but not if you’re looking for something super bouncy and light weight.

    Stands up to my destructo-dog!
My 70 lb lab is a powerful & determined chewer. He has shredded up all kinds of toys that purport to be “indestructible”. This ball has lasted several weeks so far!! He did puncture it about 3 sec into playing with it, so I did not start out with high hopes. However, I stand corrected! He can smoosh it enough to carry it around in his mouth, but as soon as he lets go to get a better grip, it IMMEDIATELY reinflates. So he hasn’t been able to use his molars to make a “flap” yet. (The dreaded “flap” is the beginning of the end for rubber toys at our house.) I am curious to see how the winter temperatures affect it outdoors – might make it less pliable & slower to reinflate. But so far, so good!!Overall, this is a pretty fun toy. Humans can kick it, so no need to get your hands all slobbery/muddy. (Shoes will get muddy, though.) The large size & bubblegum pink color make it easy to find in the woods & in piles of leaves. Our dog loves running around with it, shaking it like he killed it, and tossing it around. He moves it around with his paws like he’s playing soccer, too. I think it’s too big & bouncy to be safe inside, but a really good outdoor toy, for sure.

My 55lb doodle absolutely loves this ball! He can carry it in his mouth without popping it and he loves to dive at it. It’s a pretty solid material and so far so good (have had it about 2 weeks which is good for him!)

I love my new ball, and it’s for me to exercise with, not for a doggy. It’s the perfect size, not too heavy, pretty colour, sturdy, and best of all doesn’t need to be inflated.

My dog Beau loves his new ball, which is the perfect size for him. He has become a great soccer player/goalie since practicing everyday. It’s very durable, long-lasting, fun to play with for both he and I and a toy is cannot destroy. As you can see in the video he is very good at handling the ball. Great for indoors or outdoors.
