Blue Heeler Tested
Order Rec’d Nov3Writing on Jan13We have two blue heelers who know the Amazon driver’s vehicle by sound, at a range of approximately 2 city blocks, based on the amount of toys they go through. The JollyPets Tug n Toss is the *perfect* toy for these maniacs. We have had this toy for 71 days, and each velocidingo uses it every time they are outside. The Beast in the photo is 43#’s and the JollyBall is large enough to wear him out a bit while he whips it around and chomps it up, but manageable enough to carry around, play fetch, and otherwise caress lovingly by chomping the actual s-word out of it.The JollyBall’s Chomp feature is the main feature of this dingoriffic toy.The cheap, large size tennis balls are great to Pop N Chomp, but just like a dog: once they get wet, they smell like the garbage can at your local dog park. The JollyBall is fantastic to chomp. It seems designed for it, and after it was punctured for the 32,826th* time–it may be started to lose it’s “ball” shape a little bit. *This is a scientific estimateA Note To Humans: This ball is heavier than it looks, and your arm will fall off and/or require minor restorative surgery if you play fetch with even the Dingo setting on “low”. Kicking it seems to be better.5 stars overall, the “Chew-Proof” 4 stars is only because a small tear has developed–but this isn’t an indictment on the quality or “chew-proofiness” of this product. I don’t know how you’d do it without the material being too thick/hard–which is exactly the opposite of Chomptastic.TLDR: If your dog destroys $h^t on the regular, but loves chomping, whipping, grabbing, tossing, and fetching a heavy toy: They will love this–and you will hate throwing it

My dog loves it!
I have a very active 60 pound “mutt” with high energy. He loves this ball! It probably isn’t 100% chew proof, nothing is with a heavy chewer, but my dog is more interested in racing around the yard with it than chewing on it. He loves to fetch it, play “chase” with it, push it around in his kiddy pool, and even throw it to himself. He only plays with it under my supervision (which really should be the case with all dogs and their toys) so I think it is going to last a long time. For my dog it has to be an outdoor toy only and is stored outdoors when the dog comes inside, otherwise I could see him throwing it around the house and possibly breaking things. He really flings it sometimes! And it is quite heavy and more on the solid side, not squishy. If it were to hit a precious knick-knack, or a lamp, those things would smash to the floor! The “handle” makes it super easy for the dog to pick it up. It didn’t take long for him to figure out that was the way to carry it. He tried biting it at first, but now he just rolls it with his paw until the handle is in a better position for him to grab it, and off he goes.

Easy to chew
Great ball. The handle doesn’t last long. It’s the first thing my pit/boxer chewed right off.

Not durable!!!!
While my dog loved this toy, it did not last long. My dog promptly chewed off the handles and even ate some of it. I definitely expected it to be way more durable and didnât feel I got my moneyâs worth!

My dog loves this ball
This is my second jolly ball, my brother’s dog chewed the handle off of the first one and my dog was not very happy about that and no longer wanted to play with it because he had a hard time picking it up.He loves loves loves his jolly ball. He always wants me to play tug, but with him holding the handle and me holding the ball, which doesn’t work out very well, for me at least. I can tell him to go find his big ball and he will walk around the yard looking for it and bring it to me. He will seek out and bring me sticks and balls when asked (and when not asked), and he always chooses the jolly ball over other balls.I have a hard time throwing it very far because my body is trying to fall apart, but my brother can really chunk it far. So if you have any sort of shoulder or arm problems, you might have a hard time throwing it very far like I do, but your dog will still love it. It’s not super heavy, but it’s definitely heavier than a tennis ball, which I can’t throw very far either. Our first ball did not have a scent, but this one smelled like blueberries. It was nice while it lasted, now it probably smells like dirt and slobber. I’m sure the dogs can still smell the blueberry scent, but I can’t and I’m not inclined to get my nose close enough to investigate further. This might be a nice feature for a visually impaired dog, but I’m not sure how powerful the scent is after some time, as stated above, I can no longer smell it from a distance but who knows what my dog can smell. While this ball looks really hard it’s actually pretty malleable. Don’t get me wrong, it will hurt your foot a little if you kick it and it will sure hurt if you played dodgeball with it. It’s pretty firm yet malleable. My dog likes to repeatedly chomp down on it, biting it over and over for several minutes at a time. This is the same technique I have seen him use to dispatch a few unfortunate critters that weren’t quite coordinated or intelligent enough to make an escape. I assume he uses his jolly ball to make sure he brings his a-game when a chomping opportunity arises, like the dog equivalent to lifting weights lol. Whatever the case, this activity is quite therapeutic to him and he really seems to enjoy it. No other toy seems to give him the same satisfaction. He gives it a resounding 10/10 for chompability. The jolly ball is definitely his 2nd favorite toy, #1 is reserved for the laser light, and the laser is really more of an addiction for my dog than a toy, so I guess technically the jolly ball is his #1 favorite toy! I’ll definitely be replacing this one when the time comes!

Best Ball Ever!
Our Rottie Loves this ball, she can play with it by herself, it has held up and she is a 113 pound very aggressive chewer. Best toy we have ever gotten for her!
Very happy with the band came as advertised. Major improvement from the one the watch comes with. –
A great, durable and fun toy.My dog absolutely loves them.

Love the handle! My dog can grab it and run around without dropping it and I have something to grasp when I throw it. Very sturdy toy, and medium to large dogs wonât have any trouble lifting it. Highly recommended!

I love these balls. My dogs love playing fetch and they hold up well. We don’t leave them unattended to chew on them. Our one dog loves the feel of the ball between her teeth and will naw on the handle to hear the noise it makes.overall awesome ball! Like I said it is not for chewing!!

I have a mastiff puppy who weighs about 120 pounds (and still growing), this ball is perfect. It is big enough he can grab the handle and run with it and he loves to run and play fetch with it. We have a smaller dog as well and his ball didn’t work as well as it was a bit too small to keep his interest. It is very durable, although it is only an outside toy so he won’t be chewing it.
