Great for medium chewers
My 16 week-old, 19 lb Australian cattle dog mutt loves this toy. He’s not a destructive chewer (yet), but he does chew constantly, and this toy is holding up much better than cheaper off brand stuffed animal toys. It’s not too big or heavy for him to carry around in his mouth, and he loves playing fetch with it as well as chewing it. Beware, though: once the pup learns how to make the toy squeak on his own, you’ll never get a moment’s quiet.Update: 7 weeks after getting this toy, my now 28lb puppy has destroyed it. He ripped it open and pulled the rope out. Now he’s got two toys: the squirrel “skin” and the rope, and he loves both. He likes chewing on and playing fetch and tug with both. My puppy destroys other stuffed animal toys 24 to 48 hours after receiving them, pulling the stuffing out and eating it (which can be dangerous for him) or leaving it in bits all over the house. I love that this rope toy does not have stuffing inside, so even though he has ripped it open, I don’t have to take it away and trash it. I still give this toy 5 stars, because it lasted so much longer than any other dog toy my pup has had. I’ll be buying this toy again.

I previously bought the Kong bear like this and loved it. It held up for a few months. This lol squirrelads it 4 mins. Disappointed. But…. Floof free so that’s a win. She still loves it so not a complete loss. Just disappointed.

My 6 month old pup was excited for her new toy…but sadly it only lasted 3 days before the squeaker was squeezed out. On day 4, she ripped the head off and pulled out the dead squeaker and the rope. It is less mess…until she started ripping the rope to shreds…still on day 4…

My dog is an aggressive chewer. Me and my son bet on how long it would take her to pull this apart. I said 12 hours my son said 24. We are going on 3 days and no tears. She loves this KONG so much. It’s absolutely a ten.

Bought this for our staffy who literally destroys toys in less than a min. But not this one! Very impressed with quality. Squeaker didn’t last long but we expected that. He love its ! Good size for a large dog and I think the rope inside makes it less interesting to rip apart.

Delivery was fast! Its a real Kong toy too! I love this toy for my RottweilerPit bull (very strong jaws). She can finally have a soft toy that last longer then 5 seconds but its not going to last forever for hard chewers more like 2-3 months but I’d say it’s worth it for the price. The only thing is the squeaker gets destroyed within the first couple days but I’m fine with that ð

Por suerte la ardilla llego muerta, porque no sé cuantas veces la ha matado. La sacude y la retuerce con intensidad, le encanta morderla y que haga ruido. Teniendo en cuenta el machaque que le ha dado el animalito al juguete ha resistido estoicamente sin ninguna señal de desgaste ( sólo una pequeña etiqueta que traia el producto que al primer dia ya le dio viaje ).Mi perrito es mediano, igual para un perro grande y voraz este juguete no le viene bien y se lo carga. La ardilla ha sido la campeona por delante incluso de la pelota, simplemente le encanta. Aquellos animalitos que tengan un instinto más cazador creo que les va como anillo al dedo.
