Great size for a medium to large cat.
My 15# cat fits really well on this bed, and he seems to like it. The elevated bed is nice as he likes to look out the window. Rather cheap scratching fabric on the side is really worthless unless the cat were to lay down next to it to scratch. Overall happy with this product.

Gave this 5 star but really a 4 star. The bed is just thin material on the bottom. I bought a bunch of those darker padded inserts on Amazon fairly cheap a while back and that cures it. The item itself is surprisingly well made. The hardware is heavy steel with proper HD inserts. The wide separation of the pathway gives it great weight stability. Keeping the animals a foot or so off the floor also keeps them alot warmer. I saw a few versions of this where the center support was narrow and a weak point. I researched the heck out of these. One of the few things I’m totally happy with this year.

The first one I received, the box looked like it had been chewed by rats, parts were missing and appeared used. I sent it back and requested a replacement. The replacement was fine. Very large platform for larger cats.

Perfect for a large cat
After many rejected cat beds my fifteen pound girl lives this bed. Top and bottom. She spends hours in it sleeping and looking out the windows.

Awful!!! No written instructions. Poor visuals. Not sure of orientation of L hinges. Metal parts not flush to inside where cat may lay. Screws take forever to catch/wind into threads.
