Perfect for my 22 lb dog
When reading reviews I was worried that the larger of the two sizes didn’t have but one review that confirmed that this larger bag fits under the seat for my flight. I can confirm, that for southwest, it does! I sat in the middle seats for all of my flights for the most underseat storage. While their newer seats it was a bit more of a squeeze, on the older planes it slid if perfectly like it was made for it! I will add, that if they were to be picky, the technical size of the bag does exceed their stated allowable dimensions. I will be flying Alaska and Alaska next and believe this will still easily fit if I book the window seat.My dog had another bag but it’s a bit smaller and I wanted him to have a little bit more room because we had a bit of travel coming up. He’s 22lb, short legs, 22in long, 16in for his chest and next. He is a smaller medium size dog. This bag had so much space for him I feel like I could have gotten the slightly smaller sized bag and he would have been happy. When I expanded the back he was able to stretch out and he didn’t even want to explore escaping because he had so much room!It was comfortable to wear and easy to take on and off when needed!Happy with my purchase! Great value, sturdy, functional, and while technically too big to fly with, it still fit and gave my pup a spacious ride!

Not for large adult cats. But efficient.
It does the trick of being a backpack and expending. The extension does make it quite roomy, but as you can see not enough for a large adult male cat (~12lbs). Enough visibility on all sides, and the extension folds pretty easily which is helpful when the pet is already inside. Good zippers and allows enough visibility for your pet to breath and smell. Overall good value product. Unfortunately not ideal for a larger pet, maybe a kitten or a mini dog

Easy to assemble and surprisingly durable
It pops in place quickly – took me less than a minute the first time using it. My cat was not fully acclimated to it the first time I took him to the vet, a 45 min drive away. He scratched at the inside pretty aggressively during the drive, and I can’t see any damage at all. Once he got used to it, he seems comfortable enough as he’s got plenty of room and airflow. The backpack was comfortable for me to walk around with, too. This made taking him and two dogs to the vet at the same time actually doable. No complaints at all!
